ATLANTA, GEORGIA: 'Mama June: Family Crisis' Season 7 star Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson finally decided to move to Colorado to pursue a nursing degree in her dream college.

Honey Boo Boo recently visited Mama June Shannon's new house in Atlanta and dropped the big news about her college. June notably was not on board with Honey Boo Boo's decision and tried to stop her from moving out. However, the critics called out June for holding back her daughter.

In the latest episode, June claimed that moving out wasn't a good idea and cited the immediate issues Honey Boo Boo's boyfriend, Dralin Carswell, might face. She said, "Has Dralin even gotten permission from his bondsman to leave?"

June added, "I don't want that to hold you back, but you also need to do an application for houses or for apartments for where you want to live."

Honey Boo Boo's sister and legal guardian Lauryn 'Pumpkin' Efird chimed in the conversation and told June that hotels are available while the We TV star and Dralin try to make things work.

June retaliated, "I promise you, hotel living is not where you want to be at." Honey Boo Boo was furious with June's comment and slammed her back noting, "First of all, I feel like this should really be like a happy moment right now. Not y'all bickering over where I'm gonna do, or what I'm gonna do."

The reality star added, "I mean, I'm going to Colorado, I have a scholarship, y'all are going way too much." Although June claimed that she wished the best for her daughters, the viewers were convinced that she never wanted Honey Boo Boo to go to college.

A social media user tweeted, "June is never beating the bad mom allegations trying to STOP her child from going to college. Like really?" Another person noted, "June is acting like millions of high school graduates don’t go off to college out of start every year and do fine." Another critic added, "Shame on June for talking negative on Alana she just can't be proud of her that she made the right decision that she's going to Colorado she'll never learn."

Another internet user penned, "June is the last person to be lecturing someone about getting their stuff in order….you ain’t been mama this whole time but NOW you want to do it!" Another viewer said, "Shut up June. The dysfunction is unreal!" Another X user stated, "Damn June should be happy that Alanas going to college. She's so selfish smfh."

Pumpkin backs Honey Boo Boo amid Mama June drama

Pumpkin supported her younger sister Honey Boo Boo after Mama June seemingly tried to stop her from moving to Colorado.

She had an argument with June and later claimed in the confessional, "I'm just trying to defend Alana because at the end of the day, like I don't know if Mama is mad because she missed so much time with Alana and f**ked up over the years and now Alana's moving away."

She further noted, "Alana doesn't need to stay in Georgia, there's nothing but drama and bullsh*t that surrounds Mama 24/7. It would be nice for everybody to get a fresh light."

However, June was worried about Honey Boo Boo and Dralin Carswell making the right decisions, and being too far away in case they need help.

She told Pumpkin, "Me or you ain't just a car ride down the road like we are now." We TV star added, "I don't want her to look back five years down the road like, 'Oh my god, I f**ked up.'"

Meanwhile, Pumpkin believed that it's time for Honey Boo Boo to learn the hard way, just like their mother. She also made it clear to June, "Mama, we live and we learn every single day." Pumpkin added, "You're 40-something years old and you're still learning."

Honey Boo Boo needs Mama June's help for college fee

Honey Boo Boo contacted her college to share her final decision with the authorities but received disappointing news.

The reality star shared with Pumpkin that the college has accepted her 21k scholarship but she still needed to pay 11 grand every semester. She needed an additional $2,200 per month for rent. Honey Boo Boo suggested that she could ask June for money adding, "I can touch my Coogan account."

Pumpkin later explained in the confessional, "A Coogan account is an account you have to open for a child performer in California and a few other states. So that the money is safe until they're an adult." Pumpkin revealed that June had been the 'manager' of Honey Boo Boo's Coogan account "that was for several different appearances that she did on the other shows. '
