What is Honey Boo Boo's net worth? 'Mama June: Family Crisis’ star contemplates future plans after graduation
ATLANTA, GEORGIA: 'Mama June: Family Crisis' Season 7 has caught the attention of the viewers and it has kept them hooked.
In the recent episode of the show, Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson was prioritizing achieving a significant accomplishment, but her loved ones were more preoccupied with her future plans after graduating from high school.
During the premiere, the former 'Toddlers & Tiaras' participant revealed that her sister, Lauryn 'Pumpkin' Efird, had been pressuring her to decide whether she would be attending college in Colorado or not.
In a confessional, Alana said, "I chose school in Colorado mainly, because it has one of the best nursing programs ever and I also got a $21,000 scholarship."
Alana received an offer letter, but she was deeply conflicted about accepting it after finding out about her sister Anna 'Chickadee' Cardwell's advanced cancer.
Alana's graduation day had arrived, but she still had not made a decision about her future. She, her mother Mama June Shannon, and her husband Justin Stroud got dressed in matching graduation t-shirts, which were made and given out by Lauryn. They all got ready to go to the ceremony.
On the other hand, when we talk about Alana's net worth in 2024, it speaks volumes about her thriving TV career. Alana's net worth is estimated to be around $400,000, as per Distractify.
Is Honey Boo Boo ready to move to Colorado?
In the same episode, Alana's boyfriend, Dralin Carswell, joined her while she was preparing for the ceremony. He inquired if she was excited about receiving her diploma, to which she admitted feeling less joyful than anticipated.
"I don't know, I'm not as happy as I thought I would've been," Alana said.
Alana discussed the pressure she's been under from her sister Lauryn regarding her future plans, and Dralin acknowledged that there are important details she should be aware of.
The reality TV star then mentioned Dralin's probationary status and questioned if moving with her to Colorado would violate the terms of his parole.
Alana shared, "I just don't think it seems like the good time," to which Dralin replied, "This is too much you know. I don't know what's going on with Anna."
Dralin stated that he didn't want to hinder Alana's progress, to which she replied by saying that she didn't want to be alone and was concerned about feeling bored in a different state.
In a joint confessional, Dralin said, "Like, I want to go to Colorado with you but I don't know if I can leave the state."
Alana responded saying, "If you can't figure this out, what's gonna happen with us? Like we can't be together if you in a whole 'nother state. If you don't want to come, just say that."
Pumpkin gives pre-graduation gift to Honey Boo Boo
Alana completed her conversation with Dralin and then applied her makeup before coming downstairs at her sister's house. Lauryn was extremely excited and happy when she saw Alana dressed in her graduation attire.
"I'm super proud," Lauren said as she smiled before handing Alana a pre-graduation gift.
However, Alana's expression turned disapproving when she unwrapped the present and discovered a t-shirt featuring the logo of the university she could potentially attend.
Alana found it strange and mentioned that she had not yet chosen. When Lauryn asked about her obvious choice, Alana left the room, stating that she couldn't handle any more questions about college.
In another confessional, Alana said, "Is everybody trying to ruin my big day because it's sure feels like it? Everybody has their own opinion and then it turns into one big fight. So if I just keep it to myself, I can skip all the fighting."
