'Mama June' star Lauryn 'Pumpkin' Efird receives trolls over claims of working '150+ hours a week'
GORDON, GEORGIA: 'Mama June: Family Crisis' star Lauryn "Pumpkin" Efird recently shared her struggles of being an entrepreneur and claimed that she had to work for more than 150 hours in a week. However, the critics called her out for work-hour claims and slammed the reality star over her lie.
The reality star took to her social media accounts and shared photos of the multiple orders she had been working on to ship to her customers. Alongside the photos, she explained, "From a very very small corner in my bedroom, moving into a 12x24 shed in my backyard last year, & now we are moving into a 11,000 Sq Ft building this week."
Pumpkin elaborated, "This right here is truly the “you made it” point for me. Not to brag at all. But this just goes to show that the 150+ hours a week that I put in doesn’t go unnoticed or under appreciated." She added, "I can’t wait to take this new adventure on with my business and continue to go up from here." However, Pumpkin notably changed her work hours from 150+ to 100+ on Facebook as soon it received backlash from her followers.
WETv star's original post has already made its way to the Reddit thread with multiple social media users criticising her. A social media user noted in the thread, "Basic math says that is a 2.5 hour break each day. The lie detector test determined THAT WAS A LIE!" Another person added, "150 hours a week? Lol. It doesn’t take that long to order temu and shein junk online and then throw it into a shed along with the rest of the junk you ordered."
Another critic noted, "Did she mean “a month”? If it’s 150 hours a week then she really is doing hard drugs." Another internet user penned, "There is on 168 hours in a week so I doubt that" Another social media user stated, "She wants us to believe she only gets 18 hours sleep all week? There’s 168 hours in a week Pumpkin tell some more lies."
Another Reddit user shared, "So basically, according to her calculations, she's averaging approximately 2.5 hours of sleep every day in a 7 day period." Another follower wrote, "There's only 168 hours in a week, so she's getting less than 3 hours of sleep a night with no showers or food? Maybe she's eating in the shower to multi-task? But no sleep, driving, time with her family? Sorry, that doesn't make sense."
