'Mama June: Family Crisis' star Honey Boo Boo slammed for expressing her upset feelings towards Doe Doe for not attending her high school graduation

GORDON, GEORGIA: During the latest episode of 'Mama June: Family Crisis' Season 7, a heartwarming and momentous occasion unfolded as Alana Thompson, affectionately known as 'Honey Boo Boo', proudly took center stage to commemorate her high school graduation.

Lauryn 'Pumpkin' Efrid, the older sister and legal guardian of Honey Boo Boo, went above and beyond to create an unforgettable and extraordinary celebration for her beloved younger sister's graduation.

Pumpkin meticulously orchestrated a delightful graduation party, extending invitations to their nearest and dearest family members and cherished friends.

On the other hand, Jo 'Doe Doe' Shannon, Mama 'June' Shannon's sister, sent a text message to Pumpkin expressing her regretful inability to attend Honey Boo Boo's graduation, which triggered a profound sense of anger and frustration within the reality TV star.

In the recent episode, it was evident that Alana was seething with anger towards her aunt for her absence during her graduation ceremony. This caused quite a stir among the fans, who were noticeably displeased with Alana's attitude and actions towards her family members.

An X user shared, "Alana needs to grow up. i get that she's pissy but doe doe has been there MORE for you than your own mother. graduations are important, yes but doe doe has been to more events. i swear, only sane one in the family is josh, anna, doe doe, and sometimes pumpkin."

What did Pumpkin gift Honey Boo Boo for her graduation?

Alana experienced an overwhelming shock when she paid a visit to her sister, Lauryn's residence, where she resides alongside her husband, Josh Efird.

As Alana made her way to the rear of the house, a chorus of voices erupted in jubilant harmony, shouting "Surprise!" Her heart raced with anticipation as she caught a glimpse of the stunning sight before her: a shiny, new pink Honda waiting patiently to be unveiled.

Soon after, Mama June said, "See? We got you a pink car and all, to which, Alana replied, "Oh wow, let me go get in it," as she admired her present.

In a confessional, Alana revealed that she wanted a more luxurious SUV and said, "It's not exactly the fancy ride I was hoping for, But I love my new car. It's my favorite color."

The young star went on to say, "Pink goes with everything, okay? I'm gonna go around, get my pink nails, get my pink toes in my pink car! Love it."

Will Honey Boo Boo go to Colorado?

In the last episode, Honey Boo Boo appeared to be in a state of perplexity when it came to deciding on attending college in Colorado.

Alana got exasperated with the incessant expectations placed upon her by her family, who are adamant about her pursuing her education in the aforementioned state.

After extensive deliberation and numerous discussions, Honey Boo Boo has finally decided on her future plans. It has been determined that she will embark on a new chapter in her life by pursuing higher education at a renowned institution located in the beautiful state of Colorado.

Pumpkin fears Alana will become 'a teen mom' if she doesn't attend college

In the same episode, Lauryn 'Pumpkin' Efrid, and Mama 'June' Shannon had a clash of words over Honey Boo Boo's college. 

Lauren told her younger sister, “We want you to do better than we’ve done." Alana is currently not prepared to decide, and her mother, Mama June Shannon, fully supports her in this stance. Mama June asserted that it is inconsequential if Alana chooses to remain in her present situation.

Mama June added, "I personally don't think Alana is like, 'Woohoo! Let's go to college!' Because you haven't even signed up for any of the classes, You haven't made sure that they have availability in your classes. Maybe she doesn't want to go there and she just don't know how to say it. Because she knows that she's gonna get the backlash from Pumpkin."

In contrast, Lauryn held a different perspective from her mother's and she bravely expressed her apprehensions in a personal and heartfelt confession.

During a confessional, Pumpkin said, "I really want what's best for Alana. And her getting up out of here and exploring a new whole life in a new different state with a new slate is going to be so much better than staying here and becoming a teen mom like I did, Mama did, Anna did — like, it's just a family thing, like, I don't know."
