DENVER, COLORADO: 'Married At First Sight' Season 17 has turned out to be a complete disaster, with two couples, Orion Martzloff and Lauren G, as well as Cameron Frazer and Clare Kerr, already going through divorces.

On the flip side, the remaining two couples, Brennan Shoykhet and Emily Balch, as well as Austin R and Becca Haley, are teetering on the brink of their breaking points.

Groom Michael Shiakallis was left at the altar after his runaway bride decided not to tie the knot with a stranger. However, He gave a second shot to love and would soon meet his potential bride, Chloe Brown.

Michael wanted an "intelligent woman, someone that you know, is very witty and quick, and is very invested in themselves."

However, the Lifetime show experts, Dr Pepper Schwartz, Pastor Calvin "Cal" Roberson, and Dr Pia Holec, have received backlash over their series of failed matches, especially, their latest match, Michael and Chloe.

Multiple viewers slammed the experts for matching Michael and Chloe as they both have totally opposite personalities.

A social media user tweeted, "So the experts decided to pair a minimalist with someone who's very eccentric and definitely into 'things.'"

Another person added, "I’m still very confused about how Michael and Chloe’s marriage is going to fit within this season. This season is a joke."

A critic noted, "Agreed. The so-called 'experts' have paired people with opposing views on religion, politics and having children. They are horrible matchmakers, and their record of failed marriages proves it."

Another internet user penned, "So the experts are now matching a minimalist and perfectionist with someone over the top and eccentric. I feel like they purposefully don’t want to get it right 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️."

An X user wrote, "I’m convinced the experts want Denver to go down in flames. Cuz Michael and this lady ain’t it. It must be the last season."

Another viewer suggested, "Chloe is 39 years old, boss, classy, not going for no mess lady. Why tf would they match her with sassy Michael? #mafs #MarriedAtFirstSight Experts are wrong for this."

Why did Chloe Brown join 'MAFS' Season 17?

Michael Shiakallis' potential bride Chloe Brown recently revealed why she was interested in taking part in the social experiment. Chloe claimed, "If you asked me in my early 20s what I wanted in a man, what I wanted then and what I want now are two completely different things."

Chloe further revealed, "I have an opportunity to do something I've never imagined in my life doing ever, really thinking about being married at first sight!"

'MAFS' Season 17's soon-to-be bride noted, "I'm that person that for my whole life, I wanted to exude this very specific image of being super successful and super capable and able to take on the world and didn't need anybody."

She elaborated, "I think that's why I ended up being in the relationships with the men that I was in because they were perfect on paper."
