Is Austin Reed single? 'MAFS' Season 17 alum sparks romance rumors with his roommate Kyla
DENVER, COLORADO: 'Married At First Sight' Season 17 alum Austin Reed has recently revealed that he is now single following his divorce from Becca Haley.
However, the Lifetime show star teased a budding romance with his roommate, Kyla. Austin appeared to be close to his female roommate and also leaned for emotional support following his divorce.
Meanwhile, in the preview of the upcoming episode, "Where Are They Now", Austin and his roommate joined Denver ex-couple, Chloe Brown and Michael Shiakallis to enjoy a party. During the reunion, Michael asked Austin if Kyla had missed him when he was busy filming the Lifetime show.
Austin sweetly looked into Kyla's eyes and admitted, "She did." However, Chloe chimed in the conversation and noted, "Who knows? Before you know it, you're in love with your roommate." Meanwhile, fans on social media reacted to the preview and speculated about the potential romance between the duo.
A fan said, "Sooo.... Austin is now dating is just-a-friend roommate?!?" Another added, "Call me suspicious but Austin and his roommate give off more than roommate vibes.... especially when she consoled him upon his return home from the apartment he and Becca shared. Austin Reed debunks 'erectile dysfunction' rumors
Austin Reed has sparked multiple rumors during his appearance on 'MAFS' Season 17 as he avoided sex with his wife, Becca Haley. However, he took the opportunity to debunk speculation about erectile dysfunction in the latest preview. While having a conversation with his friend, he noted, "People just like saying that like I experience erectile dysfunction or I'm a repressed Christian."
The Lifetime show alum added, "It's none of those things are true like I am a normal dude who just likes to build a foundation with a woman before I like cross that barrier and have that connection."
Austin Reed accused of having 'no sex' pact
Austin Reed's ex-wife, Becca Haley, accused him of having of 'no sex pact'. During the Reunion, Becca claimed that most of the men refrained from being intimate with the wives. Lifetime show host Kevin Frazier agreed with Becca and admitted he felt there was "something going on behind the scenes."
Becca also claimed that Austin had a group chat with other male co-stars where they strategized their moves and made the pact. She admitted, "And that's what is hard to articulate, that as confused as anybody may be about the situation, we were just as confused."
'MAFS' Season 17 finale episode will premiere on Wednesday, April 24, at 8 pm ET on Lifetime.
