DENVER, COLORADO: 'Married at First Sight' Season 17 couple Austin R and Becca Haley are struggling to find physical attraction despite being married for weeks. The couple went to Mexico for their honeymoon but failed to spark a romantic connection.

Becca previously revealed that she was diagnosed with endometriosis and has always been in 'pain'. However, the couple wanted to spend time together and know more about each other before getting intimate.

Meanwhile, the Lifetime show's viewers speculated that Austin and Becca could soon split as they didn't have sex. Additionally, the couple's connection appeared more like friends rather than a married couple.

A Reddit user wrote, "I think if he were into her, they'd be doing something sexual -- even if it's not sex. Instead, we see them high fiving each other and acting like bros. She is 100% friend-zoned."

Another person added, "Hope we’re wrong, but I see a guy who likes Becca as a friend but isn’t interested in her romantically. Every time we see them kiss it’s her initiating."

Someone else noted, "He probably likes her, but if there was chemistry they would've boinked by now. No way you are sleeping next to someone who turns you on without getting frisky."

A viewer said, "That can also just make the relationship a friendship one. I don't want to have sex with my friends. Austen is holding back because he's unsure. He doesn't want to lead her on with sex. Believe me, if he was very sure about her, they would have had sex on the honeymoon."

Another social media user suggested, "And it's a quick peck on the mouth. There's zero sexual tension."

Becca Haley wants Austin R to take the lead in bed

In the previous episode of 'MAFS' Season 17, Becca Haley and Austin R invited their friends as they threw a housewarming party. The couple seemingly enjoyed the leftover pizza.

However, Becca admitted to her friends that she was ready for the next step of intimacy, but for now, she was letting Austin take the lead.

Furthermore, Becca confessed to being a little surprised when his friend revealed that religious differences haven't held much weight in his past relationships and decisions.

Becca Haley and Austin R address their religious differences

Religious differences have been one of the major stuggles Becca Haley and Austin R have faced.

They recently opened up about the impact these differences have had on their relationship as they heard a little more feedback from their new spouse's friends.

Austin told Becca's friend, "Our religion and faith doesn't really line up... but that is a hurdle that will take time to jump over."

Becca also expressed to her husband's friend that Austin being Christian and her having been raised Jewish before coming to her own spiritual understanding has been the "biggest difference" in their marriage so far.

However, Austin later assured Becca that his Christianity "doesn't really seem like a way that he makes choices," and that it's more of a "belief system that is there, but isn't a primary driver of his life."

He also appeared to feel confident in his and Becca's ability to work through their differences and told her friends, "We're still getting to know one another as a person, and then we'll figure out the big issues."
