Austin Reed slams Becca Haley for calling him 'combative'
'MAFS' Season 17 star Austin Reed recently called out Becca Haley after she dubbed him 'combative'. Just a day before Decision Day, Becca had a huge fight with Austin where she claimed that her husband acted differently on and off camera. Becca's comment left Austin furious and noted, "It's, like, I have an opinion and when I express it and it’s not the same as yours, it’s automatically considered combative."
He questioned, "Like, am I being combative right now?" adding, "The words you use to describe me aren’t for sure any that I’ve been described as. I’ve never been called these things." However, Becca later claimed that Austin was not presently being combative but said she didn't know how else to classify his actions. Austin made it clear that her words matter because "That’s what millions of people are going to see about me."
Are Becca Haley and Austin Reed still together?
'MAFS' Season 17 couple Becca Haley and Austin Reed are speculated to get divorced during the second round of the Decision Day. The couple still have multiple issues to deal with especially intimacy and different religious views. However, Becca's hope for love started to fizzle out hours after she said 'yes' to Austin.
In the latest episode, Becca shared, "All I thought Austin and I wanted was to be done with the cameras, to be done with the production." She further noted that she got a text from Clare and her co-star revealed that she saw Austin and Brennan out with their producer. Becca was visibly disappointed with Austin and found the incident funny "because he's so worried about optics and I don't think he understands that the optics do not look good for him."
