Did Kyra Green cure David Barta's 'shiny object syndrome'? 'Ex on the Beach' fans root for the couple
Like a kid in a candy store, David Barta was spoilt for choices after he set foot on MTV's dating show 'Ex on the Beach'. The 'Paradise Hotel' alum revealed that he was sexually fluid and wanted to explore more of it during his time on the show.
David wasted no time in flirting with his co-star Mike Mulderrig. The duo even exchanged a steamy kiss. But things with Mike came to a screeching halt when David's ex Dani Coco showed up on the show ready to rekindle their romance. In the spirit of being honest, David revealed to Dani his sexual fluidity and his interest in Mike. Dani accepted it and the couple began working on rekindling their relationship. Just as things were beginning to get better between the couple, former 'Love Island' star Kyra Green popped up. David revealed that he always had a crush on Kyra and reportedly tried to slide into her DMs as well. David immediately began working on wooing Kyra, while completely ignoring Dani. After watching David jump from one person to another so frequently, Dani declared that her ex had a "shiny object syndrome", wherein he's constantly drawn to new people.

While Dani's diagnosis may be true, as it turns out Kyra was the cure for it. After working on building a relationship with the former 'Love Island' star, David's attention was firmly focussed on Kyra. During one of the group games when David was questioned about his "shiny object syndrome" and if he was with Kyra just to prove everybody else wrong, he replied saying he never felt the same way for anybody as he felt for Kyra. She too chimed in saying that she envisioned them together after the show's ending as well.
Their co-stars pointed out that David and Kyra's relationship worked because they both matched each others' 'weird energy'. So, when it was finally time for the couple to make the big decision on whether they wanted to continue dating or not after the show, Kyra and David immediately said yes. According to the show's notes, the couple ven moved in together after the show! Looks like everything worked out just fine between Kyra and David.
