'Ex on the Beach' Season 5: Arisce's ex Mike kisses David, fans predict juicy 'love triangle'

After watching David and Mike's budding romance under Arisce's nose, fans were pretty amused and began anticipating some juicy drama between the trio

We already knew that MTV's hit dating show 'Ex on the Beach' was going to be dramatic, but we honestly did not expect the season 5 premiere to kick off with a budding love triangle. The love triangle in question is between 'Strut' star Arisce Wanzer, her ex-boyfriend Mike Mulderrig, and David Barta. 

After a series of failed relationships, 'Paradise Hotel' star David decided to come on the MTV show to learn more about himself. Right off the bat, he revealed that he was still trying to figure out his sexuality. This immediately piqued Arisce's interest, who candidly volunteered to help him out in her confessional. But Arisce wasn't the only one who had her eyes on David, her ex Mike of 'Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club' too was eyeing the 'Paradise Hotel' hunk. When Mike finally popped up in the villa, he was pleasantly surprised to see David. He revealed that David and he had a 'bromance' and have known each other for a while. David then made things pretty interesting when he revealed in his confessional that Mike was the first man he was ever attracted to.

Though Mike came on the MTV show to fix things with Arisce, that didn't deter David from trying to woo him. Luckily for David, things between Arisce and Mike were a bit rocky as the supermodel wanted an open relationship while he wasn't keen on it. But just to give Arisce a taste of her own medicine, Mike declared that he was ready for an open relationship and wasted no time in flirting with David. Their flirting turned into a passionate kiss, which Arisce had no clue about.

After watching David and Mike's budding romance under Arisce's nose, fans were pretty amused and began anticipating some juicy drama between the trio as the season progresses. A fan tweeted, "Mike and David kissing!! Things are getting spicy #ExOnTheBeach." "Poor David looked so sad when Mike started making out with Arisce. But honestly, I can't wait to see this drama unfold lol #ExOnTheBeach," wrote a fan. Another fan added, "This David/Mike/Arisce love triangle should be interestingggg #ExOnTheBeach."

Some fans felt that the trio would make a great throuple and began shipping them.
