Mindy Chen (Ashley Park) introduces Emily to her friend Li (Elizabeth Tan), who wants to market her skin company, Kadiance, which is recognized for the glass skin trend. Li pitches the concept to Agence Grateau, and Sylvie Grateau (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) organizes a successful demo day.

However, Julien (Samuel Arnold), who has lately returned to the agency, finds that Li previously sold Kadiance as a personal lubricant on the French version of Dragons's Den. This discovery has the potential to expose the agency to interested investors.

When things seem to be falling apart, Emily makes a wise decision to raise the product's price, therefore protecting the company's secret. Emily's fast thinking saves the agency from a potentially disastrous scandal but its surely gonna cost them hefty in Part 2.

Camille's relationship with Sofia is not as rosy as she had hoped, as the pair has a few disagreements, prompting Sofia to question Camille's dedication to having a family. Sofia, frustrated, chooses to return to Athens, leaving Camille distraught and openly inviting her to accompany her.

Meanwhile, Gabriel's hopes of gaining a Michelin star are dashed when he discovers that Luc's girlfriend is not a Michelin inspector, as he had assumed.

In a gloomy twist, Camille comes to know that she was never pregnant and that her late period was caused by stress. As she prepares to break the terrible news to Gabriel, he excitedly confesses that he no longer cares about the Michelin star and thinks they are having a child, leaving Camille distraught by the reality she must now face.
