PARIS, FRANCE: Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) is all set to shatter some hearts as the first part of Season 4 of 'Emily in Paris' is all set to make its premiere on Netflix on Thursday, August 15.

Set against the backdrop of the fashion epicentre of World, Paris, the show follows Emily, a young American marketing professional who unexpectedly gets a job in the city of rich culture and all things romance.

In the earlier seasons, Emily's tangled love life takes centre stage, with her dating Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) while having strong emotions for Gabriel (Lucas Bravo).

Following the dramatic cliffhanger of Season 3, where Camille (Camille Razat) is revealed to be pregnant with Gabriel's child, viewers eagerly anticipate Emily's response to this new challenge in her love life.

Whom will Emily Cooper choose in 'Emily in Paris' Season 4?

As the new season's trailer reveals, Emily is now single, which might be due to Alfie's insecurity over her unresolved emotions for Garbriel.

In the trailer's closing shot, Emily is shown standing between Gabriel and Alfie during a masquerade event, leaving fans speculating that Emily may choose herself

Fans left comments under the trailer, which was released on YouTube.

A fan said, "This is probably going to end with Emily choosing HeRsElF ️ at the end...still going to watch it tho."

Another said, "This is looking sooo good. Emily, choose yourself please!!."

"I have a feeling that Emily will not be in a relationship with Alfie and Gabriel. I think she will choose herself or she is gonna be single forever," said an admirer.

A fan shared their opinion and commented, "I have a feeling she’s going to pick herself in the end and won’t end up with either of the main love interests."

Why Emily Cooper will not end up with anyone but her in 'Emily in Paris' Season 4?

The show's appeal originates from Emily's turbulent love entanglements, which are rom-com clichés.

Emily was first linked with handsome chef and neighbour Gabriel, but as we all know, Gabriel's girlfriend Camille generated friction between them. However, the God of romance bestowed her another chance and she ends up dating Alfie but things soon starts to get haywire while she tries to balance her work and romance together.

It is probable that the first half of Season 4 may centre on Emily's love entanglements, with the final result that she chooses no one but herself, and that Season 2 will focus only on her being single while succeeding in her work and other parts of life.

Furthermore, ending the season with Emily choosing herself would convey a powerful message to viewers about the value of self-worth and the notion that one can be full and fulfilled without the need for a romantic relationship.
