'Bad judgment': Internet slams 'American Idol' judges for sending Carina home, say 'Nutsa set her up'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Night two of 'American Idol's Hollywood Week featured some fresh drama and emotional departure. Following Carina DeAngelo and Nutsa's poor pairing, which resulted in the former's early exit, fans went to social media to criticize the judges for their "wrong judgment".
Following Sunday's Hollywood performance challenge and eliminations, the 'American Idol' Season 21 Duets Challenge has arrived. The show is changing things up a little. Previously, the contestants were matched up by judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan. The surviving contestants, however, chose their own duet companions this year, resulting in chaos!

Did Nutsa ruin Carina's chances of advancing in 'American Idol'?
During the tryouts in Las Vegas, they were cordial. Carina, on the other hand, is upset because Nutsa retired to bed without fully rehearsing. "Hollywood week is not a joke!" Carina states. Nutsa insists on not needing practice and appears to dislike having to handle a nervous partner. Carina believes Nutsa arranged the tune specifically for her vocals. Adrianna McPhee, Katharine McPhee's sister, is coaching them. The two retire to their beds amid the night. Carina believes the performance is "s***".
Even later, when they're with Ryan Seacrest, the two snark at each other in the most passive-hostile manner imaginable. In front of the judges, they express their grievances. Nutsa outperforms Carina, who appears less competent and seasoned. Lionel could sense the tense atmosphere. "I think you’re better than that performance," Katy says, adding, "The energy was broken between the two of you." Carina is eliminated, and despite her poor performance, Nutsa progresses. Katy tells Nutsa "not to forget about grace."
'Nutsa totally sabotaged Carina'
Following Carina's elimination, fans took to Twitter to slam Nutsa as well as the Idol judges. One wrote, "Just gonna reward Nutsa for sabataging her partner. That’s some shameful bs right there. Carina deserved better."
Another person chimed in, "Carina didn't deserve to go home. Nutsa set her up." Calling out the makers, a fan wrote, "1st time I watched in a long while and I’m not surprised. Carina deserved to go through. Nutsa should’ve been eliminated for being lazy, but she was prettier and dressed like a star. Idol picking visual quality over singing ability as usual."
A fourth person added, "It's soooo obvious that the judges on american idol made their vote based on appearance with nutsa's and carina's duet."

Calling her a stuck-up, a viewer tweeted, "Nutsa, you are still too stuck up for my liking, especially how you treated your partner!! 😡😤." Criticizing judges for the same, a fan wrote, "Nutsa is no one to idolize. Bad judgement."
