LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'American Idol' Season 21 kicked off Hollywood Week with several aspiring singers. While some of the contestants have to return to their homes, several singers will advance to the next level in the ABC Network competition.

'The Voice' alum We Ani sings her heart out during Hollywood Week Part 1 of the singing competition. She was mentored by singer Jordin Sparks and received a heartwarming response for her performance. We Ani receives standing ovation

We Ani delivered an energetic and powerful performance of her original song 'Good For'. The singer opted for stage presence as the thing she wanted to work on most. Ani received a heart-melting response from the judges and advanced to the next round in Hollywood week. Notably, she also received a standing ovation from the crowd and they kept singing her lyrics even after she left the stage. Ani gets emotional and said, "That was worth everything!"

'You are giving me WINNER energy'

Ani's performance stirred 'American Idol' viewers and they even predicted that the singer could reach the 'top 10.' A social media user tweeted, "It is just amazing how We Ani's speaking voice sounds like a squeaky mouse, but she has that big singing voice. She's so talented. " Another user noted, "We Ani sounds like Eartha Kitt and Jennifer Hudson all in one." Another Internet user wrote, "We Ani has such amazing energy from the top of her original song. Such a strong vocal and got the judges and audition involved in the performance. Dope!" Meanwhile, other 'Americal Idol' 2023 viewers took to the comment section of Ani's performance and wrote, "As soon as I saw your initial audition I was a fan. After Sunday’s performance, I know you’re going to be a superstar!" A viewer commented, "What a star!!! She’s my winner." Another user said, "@we_ani you are giving me WINNER energy I am watching the show just for you I think I will wait FOREVER now to see in my class again.
