AMORY, MISSISSIPPI: 'American Idol' is returning for a new season with the same trio of judges. Along with judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan, host Ryan Seacrest is also set to return to 'American Idol' Season 21. The new season will commence with the audition rounds in the hunt for talented aspiring singers who will take the stage to show their singing skills and get a golden ticket for the next round. After getting chosen during the audition round, they will advance to Hollywood Week, followed by the Showcase Rounds, and ultimately the Top 24. It is recently revealed that Disney Aulani, Noah Cyrus, and Allen Stone will be the mentors for the upcoming season. 'American Idol' Season 21 audition was country music and one of the contestants, Colin Stough, slayed in the round.

'American Idol' Season 21 will premiere this Sunday, and we already got a sneak peek at the few contestants. Who is Colin Stough?

Colin Stough is a country singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He hails from Amory, Mississippi, and graduated high school in 2022. The 'American Idol' 2023 contestant was also a part of his high school football team. He loves to showcase his milestones and loving moments on his social media. Colin is seemingly playing guitar since he was a teen. He also has a beautiful girlfriend, Emma M. Long. She seems to love sports as much as Colin does, as she was a member of her high school basketball team. On March 25, 2023, Colin and Emma will mark their third anniversary as a couple.

Colin Stough is one of several contestants who auditioned for the much-awaited season of the ABC Network show. Colin reportedly performed the famous country song 'Cold' by Chris Stapleton. He also appears to have moved up to Hollywood Week, as evidenced by the teaser for 'American Idol' Season 21. Moreover, according to viral reports, Colin Stough's mentor will be Noah Cyrus.
