'American Idol' Finale: Fans joke Fritz Hager outperformed James Arthur during guest performance
It looks like 'American Idol' fans are still in no mood to forgive the audience or let go off of the fact that their favorite performer Fritz Hager didn't secure a spot on the Season 20 finale. Despite having a strong fan base on social media, when Fritz was shown the door following his Top 5 performance, fans didn't take to his elimination kindly.
So, when Fritz returned for a guest performance during the finale alongside country star James Arthur, fans had some strong feelings about the duo's performance. The duo performed to Arthur's hit track 'Can I Be Him'. Armed with his trusty guitar and buttery smooth vocals, Fritz managed to leave the show's fans swooning all over again. Fans loved Fritz's performance so much that they declared that he sounded better than Arthur, the original artist of the song.
