It's like night and day, the impact that 'American Idol' had on Fritz Hager's confidence and personality. When the 21-year-old first stepped onto the stage to audition for the ABC singing competition, he was extremely shy and kept doubting his talent and abilities. 

Thanks to the judges' constant mentoring, alongside the overwhelming love and support from fans, today Fritz is the picture of confidence, who is always ready to step out of his comfort zone and challenge himself. For his top 10 round performance, Fritz was given a choice of three songs to pick from. Instead of playing it safe or picking a song that he could easily perform, Fritz decided to challenge himself and chose Oasis 'Wonderwall'. He also tried putting his own spin on it by rearranging the song. The end result left judges and fans awestruck.

While the judges couldn't believe the flawless performance that Fritz delivered, fans, on the other hand, declared him their winner. A fan tweeted, "Fritz might run away with this whole competition. His confidence in performing is off the charts. He can really sing...#AmericanIdol." "Fritz Hager just gave a winning performance! That was fantastic!!! #AmericanIdol," wrote a fan. "Fritz just won #AmericanIdol IMO," declared a fan. "Fritz is totally going to win this, he fits all the boxes #AmericanIdol," observed a fan. "If Fritz doesn't win #AmericanIdol we riot.," threatened a fan.

The audience too loved Fritz's performance as they voted for him to secure a spot on the show's Top 10 round.
