Netflix has confirmed that ‘My Life With the Walter Boys’ will return for Season 4, so Jackie Howard’s story will continue beyond the Season 3 finale. Production is underway in Calgary, and the next installment is scheduled for 2027. An exact premiere date has not been announced. The new season will have to address the fallout between Jackie, Cole Walter and Alex Walter after the latest episodes leave their relationships unresolved.

Netflix renewed the series before Season 3 premiered and confirmed that Nikki Rodriguez, Noah LaLonde and Ashby Gentry had started work on the next chapter. The three actors play Jackie, Cole and Alex, placing the central trio at the center of the production update. Showrunner and executive producer Melanie Halsall told Netflix’s Tudum, “I know I speak for the writers, the cast, and the crew when I say that it is beyond exciting to be returning to the world of Silver Falls for a fourth season.” She added, “We are all incredibly grateful and are thrilled to dive in.”

Netflix has only announced a 2027 release window for Season 4. Seasons 2 and 3 both arrived in August, but the platform has not said whether the next installment will follow the same schedule. No trailer or episode count has been released. Netflix has also not set a date for its next Season 4 update. Season 3 does not settle Jackie’s connection with either Walter brother. Cole ends things with Jackie despite admitting that he loves her, and he later moves in with Dylan. Alex remains part of the unfinished love triangle, leaving all three characters without a clear resolution. Netflix has not released an official synopsis explaining how Season 4 will continue their story.

Halsall has confirmed that the series will stay focused on those relationship conflicts. “Our story’s about love and romance and love triangles and all those teenage trials and tribulations around those things, and we’re not going to divert from those — so much, much more of that to come in Season 4,” she told Tudum. The comment confirms that Jackie, Cole and Alex’s situation will remain part of the series. It does not reveal whether Jackie will choose either brother or how Cole’s move will affect the triangle.

Rodriguez, LaLonde and Gentry were featured in Netflix’s Season 4 production announcement, confirming the return of the show’s three leads. Netflix has not announced the full cast, and Sarah Rafferty, Marc Blucas and the rest of the Walter family ensemble have not been formally confirmed. The streamer has not announced any new cast members either. For now, Season 4 is filming for 2027, while its exact release date, trailer and complete cast list remain under wraps. All episodes of Season 3 are currently streaming on Netflix.
