Will we get a CLC reunion? Yeeun spills on disbanded girl group: 'This is the beginning'
SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: After GOT7 and Girls’ Generation’s comebacks, and EXID’s reunion, we now have groups that were forced to disband assuring fans of reunions. It seems that CLC is also going to be pulling a GFriend as they are more active now than when they were actually together. CLC fans knew something was wrong when Yujin participated in the survival show ‘Girls Planet 999’ and debuted with Kep1er while claiming that her label Cube had dismissed CLC. Then in May, Cube indirectly announced that the group had disbanded. But according to Yeeun, all is not lost.
After Elkie exited CLC and the label, Sorn was the next member to leave Cube. She was followed by members Yeeun and Seungyeon. It didn’t make much of a difference for CLC fans as the group’s last comeback was in September 2020 and they were happy that the girls would at least get a chance to promote as soloists. But in May, following their seventh debut anniversary, Cube hinted that CLC had disbanded as the girls would end their activities as a girl group in June 2022.

Yeeun hints at CLC reunion
Fans were upset that Cube did not announce CLC’s disbandment properly. On top of that, it seems that the girls did not agree to it as they are on good terms with each other and constantly release content together. In fact, after Kep1er’s Japan schedule on August 7, Yujin hung out with CLC. And now, Yeeun shared on her birthday that CLC was not going anywhere. Sorn also did an interview revealing the alleged mistreatment of Cube. She shared that the Cube had wanted them to focus on individual activities. She shared that the members still had a passion for CLC and a reunion seemed evident. Well, Yeeun too said something similar.

On August 10, Yeeun went on VLive to celebrate her birthday with her fans. She was reading out fans’ comments and one caught her eye. The fan had commented, “It’s not too late to stan right? For Yeeun, Seunghee and CLC :’)?” Yeeun smiled and responded, “It’s not too late to stan. This is the beginning. We’re gonna make up for all the time we’ve been apart, so prepare yourselves.” Apart from hanging out with the other CLC members, Yeeun is also focusing on her solo career. She and Superbell Company have signed an exclusive contract to support her various activities including music.
‘I’m living for it’
Excited fans made tweets like, “OH MY GOD! SHE SAID IT! SHE SPILLED WHAT I WAS THEORIZING AND TALKING ABOUT FROM ALL OF THEIR HINTS! I CANT BELIEVE IT CLC WANT TO REUNITE THROUGH DEBUTING SOLO AND BUILDING THEIRSELVES BACK UP UNTIL THEY CAN PROMOTE AS A GROUP CLC WANT TO REDEBUT OMG OMG WHEN WILL THIS GO VIRAL.” One fan was touched, “The clc girls love each other so much <3.” Another Cheshire commented, “She literally said f**k 'ex clc', 'former clc’ and I'm living for it.” One fan wrote, “If Yeeun truly means it, I don't think anything will stop her from making it happen.”
