Amanda Batula finally reveals why she was missing from ‘Summer House’ Season 10 Episode 12: ‘I just can’t…’
With the latest ‘Summer House’ Season 10 Episode 12 release on Bravo, fans noticed Amanda Batula’s absence from the show’s group setting. She was noticeably missing when the cast members, including Kyle Cooke, were spending time together. While some of the fellow cast members asked Cooke about Batula's absence, one of them, Ciara Miller, FaceTimed her. Before that, Cooke talked to Batula over the phone. He shared that he did not have a clear idea as to why she was not there. He said, “Well, I just got off the phone with her, and I thought she was gonna come out later tonight.” Further, he added, “I don’t know if she’s gonna make it at all…It is what it is. I don’t know. I was just like, ‘C’mon, like, second to last weekend…’”
Among the cast members who asked Cooke about Batula’s absence was Miller. In response, Cooke asked whether she told her anything, “Oh, she didn’t tell you? She kind of bailed.” During his conversation with Miller, ‘Summer House’ star noted that he did not really have a good answer for Batula’s absence. However, he hinted that she had been “on the struggle bus.” Later in the episode, fans saw Miller FaceTiming Batula to know more. After calling her, Miller noted that she was “gonna kill” her because the boy-to-girl ratio was low, as there were seven boys and three girls. Batula, who was taking a nap, apologized for not being there. She added that she “couldn’t do it.”
Listening to that, Miller asked whether she was not going to be there “at all.” “The idea of, like, going out there is overwhelming me so much. I was like, I just need to, like, not go,” said Batula. In her private confessional, ‘Summer House’ star Batula revealed that the situation between her and Cooke has been “rough so far.” Because of that, she felt “like it’s sort of catching up to me at this point.” Further, Batula confessed how she had been feeling lately. “I've been showing up with a smile on my face every weekend and being, like, the joyful, bubbly Amanda, and trying to power through it all. And it's to a point where, like, I can't take it anymore, and I just need to be alone right now. I just need to, like, give myself some time,” added Batula.
Additionally, fans may remember Cooke’s conversation with Batula over the phone, where he told her to “hang in there.” He also noted that she would be missed there. Later, ‘Summer House’ cast members had a night out where they all enjoyed their time. After returning, Cooke confessed to the cameras that he was “having fun” for the first time in a long time. He shared that he was “feeling a lot more lighthearted, feeling a little like myself, and it’s ‘cause my wife’s nowhere to be seen.” He admitted that it was a “rude awakening” which made him realize “how effed” the two really were.
