'Summer House' 10 Episode 12 Recap: West and Ciara reflect on their bond but Amanda has a few questions
‘Summer House’ Season 10 Episode 12 saw West apologizing to Ciara. The two had a private conversation, during which the former spoke about his past actions. This came after he kissed another woman in the previous episode of the show. He admitted to being a “s**tty friend” and said that he felt “personally bummed” about their friendship. “I hope that I didn’t f**k up whatever was built over the Summer,” he added. Ciara said that this was the reason she didn’t want to be friends with him. “Like it’s best if we’re not friends,” mentioned Ciara. In response, West noted that things had been hard for him as well. He apologized again for jeopardizing their bond and said that he would take it all back if he could.
Elsewhere in the episode, Ciara, Mia, and Mia’s brother, Nick, went to see a Spirit Medium. Sharing more about the Medium and how Ciara met them, Mia said, “Ciara met this medium when she was in Costa Rica, right after her grandmother had passed away. And it really helped Ciara.” Soon, they met the Spirit Medium, Tiffany, and Mia recalled her mother’s passing. She shared that she didn’t get to say “a proper goodbye” to her and was looking for “closure.” “I need to know that she’s okay,” confessed Mia. Later, when Tiffany shared some details about their mother and grandmother, she got emotional, which led to Ciara getting teary-eyed as well.
Further in the latest episode of ‘Summer House’, West and Amanda had a chat when Kyle went to get some drinks. Amanda told him that what upset her the most was that he had been such a good friend to her throughout the Summer. “And then to watch you disrespect Ciara and…it just puts this weird dynamic in place,” added Amanda. West admitted that he understood why his behavior might have come off as disrespectful. He spoke about his confusion regarding his situation with Ciara. He wasn’t sure what the bond was between the two, whether it was a friendship or if they were “rekindling” what they had. “There’s a lot of moving pieces and a lot of layers, too,” noted Amanda. She also asked about the rumors surrounding West and Ciara being “super flirty” whenever they would go out at night. He admitted this was true and also asked Amanda if she had any advice for him. She told him to take accountability and not have any “ands, ifs, or buts.”
Back in the Hamptons, some of the 'Summer House' cast members spent time together. Mia and Ciara talked to KJ about him moving forward with Dara and making things official. The two were concerned about him moving too fast in his relationship. Mia was also concerned about her boyfriend returning to Miami for work. While they all met, a few cast members noticed Amanda’s absence. After Ciara learned about this, she FaceTimed Amanda and spoke to her. Later, Ciara and West had a private chat where she told him that she missed him as a friend in her life.
