Who stars in ‘Obsession’? Full cast list of Netflix’s limited series
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Obsession' is a contemporary adaptation of Josephine Hart's erotic thriller novella 'Damage,' which tells the story of William, a respected surgeon in London, who begins a passionate love affair with his soon-to-be-daughter-in-law Anna Barton. While Anna attempts to keep up both of her relationships, William devolves into an obsessive downward spiral. How long will they be able to keep their forbidden desire hidden?
Glenn Leyburn and Lisa Barros D'Sa directed the limited series, which was written by Morgan Lloyd-Malcolm and Benji Walters for Netflix. Moonage Films' executive producers include Gaumont's Matthew Read, Frith Tiplady, and Alison Jackson, and veteran Gina Carter oversees production. Josephine Hart’s sensual novel was made into a film in 1992 by the same name, starring Jeremy Irons, Juliette Binoche, and Miranda Richardson.

On the show, Richard Armitage plays William, Charlie Murphy plays Anna Barton, Rishi Shah plays Martyn, Indira Varma plays Ingrid, and Pippa Bennett-Warner plays Peggy. Anil Goutam, Marion Bailey, Sonera Angel, Francesca Knight, Kerim Hassan, Victor Pontecorvo, Greg Barnett, Celine Arden, Isla Jackson-Ritchie, Ed Hughes, and Letty Thomas are among the supporting actors.
The British limited series premieres on Netflix on April 13, 2023.
