PAWHUSKA, OKLAHOMA: 'American Idol' season 21 witnessed multiple talented singers through the auditions conducted across Nashville, Las Vegas, New Orleans, and other states. However, the upcoming episode marks the last audition for season 21 of the ABC show.
Among the hopefuls who are set to perform in the week 3 auditions, is Phil Kane. The aspiring singer's audition preview has already been released and he has seemingly impressed, Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan. Phil will bring his raw talent to the singing competition. Who is Phil Kane?
Phil is a resident of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, and studies at Belmont University in Nashville. He has won several accolades for his vocals. Phil has won Pawhuska Got Talent in 2019 along with other local Got Talent and 4-H competitions. Additionally, Phil's mom, Cyndi 'Hyacinth' Kane is a best friend of celebrity chef Ree Drummond. She is also a published author. Phil's mom has appeared on the Food Network with Ree and on her famed blog, The Pioneer Woman.

Phil is all set to serenade the judges in the upcoming episode of 'American Idol' season 21. ABC network has recently shared a preview clip of Phil's auditions. In the clip, the aspiring singer shared that he writes about 'dirt roads, girls…'
Phil performed his original 'Osage County' while accompanying himself on piano. The judges gave Phil's performance a standing ovation with Luke calling him a 'country Jackson Brown.' Phil gushed about his audition on his social media and revealed, "This ole boy is going to HOLLYWOOD!! Don’t forget to tune into @americanidol on @abcnetwork at 8/7c this Sunday to see the full audition y’all!!" Phil further added, "I would also like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. To all my family and friends back home who pushed me to be my best that I can be, the amazing American idol crew, the legendary judges @lukebryan @katyperry @lionelrichie, the insanely talented friends I made along the way, but most importantly to the Lord. All the glory and honor goes to him!"
