LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In 'American Idol' Season 21 March 19 episode, Owen Eckhardt left everyone spellbound with his vocals as well as his natural skills in playing guitar and harmonica.

Judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie were left impressed with Owen's vocals. The veterinary student also brings a puppy to the stage and the judges didn't miss a chance to spend some fun time with the cute little pet.

Is Owen Eckhardt the next Elvis Presley?

Owen performed 'Something in the Orange' by Zach Bryan. His vocals impressed all three 'American Idol' judges. However, Owen also brings a guitar and a harmonica to the stage. Soon after the 19-year-old veterinary student finishes his performance, Katy Perry compares him to a legend, Elvis Presley. Katy said, "Can I be so bold to say that there's a bit of Elvis Presley in there" Notably, Luke and Lionel also agreed with Katy and gushed about the contestant. Additionally, Lionel said he needed some work to become a better storyteller, adding that he can improve in Hollywood.



 

Owen Eckhardt is going to Hollywood!

Owen gets three yeses and is going to Hollywood and the 'American Idol' viewers can't keep calm! The social media users took to the comment section of Owen's audition video and praised his vocals. A user commented, "Ironically not a country fan but love me some harmonica and animals! Bravo!" Another user said, "He sounded great!" Another user added, "Owen Eckhardt on guitar and harmonica. Those lil catches in his voice made it so interesting to me, good tone, and he was emoting thru all that hanging off his body. Wow!" Meanwhile, another user added, "You resemble Elvis more than the actor who played his part in the movie." Another user wrote, "There’s just enough @raylamontagne in that voice to make me fall in love!" Another user said, "I hear it… Elvis."

'American Idol' Season 21 airs every Sunday at 8 pm ET on ABC.
