LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Voice' Season 23 coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, Chance The Rapper, and Niall Horan's teams are almost full. Who is Michael Landingham?

Michael lives in Cherry Valley, California but originally belongs to Rancho Cucamonga, California. He has two sons, Luca Sailor Landingham, and Kaden Cash Landingham, and a daughter Selah Ann Grace Landingham. Michael is currently in a relationship with Veronika Gam. The aspiring singer is writing, performing, and releasing music for the last 15 years. Michael's first gig was busking on the streets. He later started playing local bar gigs. Notably, he has also been in several small bands and projects. Michael doesn't do any 9-5 job because he is a full-time dad. He works over the weekends gigging at bars & restaurants to pay the bills which are enough for their livelihood. However, he has recently opened up in a Facebook post about his financial struggles. Michael recalled a touching incident and wrote, "I remember it was a Friday night and I was packing up my equipment to head out to perform for my weekly residency at the Bistro then I heard my daughter screaming for me from her room saying daddy! daddy! So I ran into her room and gave her a big bear hug before I had to leave for work. As I held her I was thinking of how we have jumped around from place to place for the last two years and how finances have never been the best for us, which was a very overwhelming feeling of failure." Michael lives with his family in an RV to save money as the aspiring singer chases his dream.

Why didn't 'The Voice' coaches turn for Michael Landingham?

Michael performed 'Wish I Knew You' to propel his career for his daughter. However, as only two spots were left, Michael wasn't able to convince a single coach to turn around. Notably, Niall and Chance both told Michael to pace himself next time. Niall said that the song "amped early" and that's why he didn't turn. Meanwhile, Chance noted the character in his voice, but thought he could pace himself better to show off everything he's capable of. On the other hand, Kelly was being picky about her final spot and so she decided to wait on something more unique.

'Michael Landingham should come back'

After no coaches turned for Michael, social media users took to Twitter to brutally slam the judges. A user wrote, "Michael did good, I love the song “Wish I Knew You”! Hope he can try again in the future. #TheVoice #VoiceBlinds." Another user tweeted, "Michael Landingham should come back." Another user said, "@NiallOfficial #TheVoice should have gone for Michael." Another user added, "Yeah Michael can't believe nobody turned there chair #TheVoice." Another user penned, "None of them were ready for him." Another user wrote, "Michael Landingham brought some grit and choppy phrasing up front. I liked when he garbled the notes at the back of his throat. He looked like he was having fun too."
