'Sister Wives' star Hunter Brown is back in the headlines for an unexpected reason. A strange rumor about Hunter disappearing has resurfaced online, leaving fans of the TLC series confused. The claim originally circulated in March, but has recently reappeared across social media — especially on Facebook, where posts allege that Hunter, the son of Kody Brown and Janelle Brown, has gone missing. However, there is no truth to these rumors. No official reports suggest Hunter is missing, and as of now, the Brown family has not released any statement addressing the claims.

As per a report by Indian outlet Hindustan Times, on November 24, a missing person poster was shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), claiming that Hunter has been missing since November 2 from Everett, Washington. The viral poster also consisted of a phone number, allegedly of the Everett Police Department. The poster is visibly fake as Hunter has been referred to as a 38-year-old man in the reports. However, Hunter was born in 1997, which means he is 28 years old right now. In the past, similar reports about Hunter being missing have gone viral. Later on, all these reports were eventually debunked.

Shedding light on Hunter’s childhood, he grew up in Utah, Wyoming, and later Las Vegas and Flagstaff as the family moved. Soon after, Hunter graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy, and he’s still pursuing his career in the Air Force. Throughout the course of the show, Hunter has been featured in ‘Sister Wives.' Previously, Hunter made a brief appearance in Season 19 of the fan-favourite show to showcase his love and support for Christine Brown on her engagement day to David Woolley.

Hunter hasn’t played an active role on the show, but he is still considered a fan-favorite. It seems like Hunter likes to stay out of the spotlight. Hunter recently even changed his public Instagram account to private. Apparently, Hunter wants to keep his personal life private. At the time of writing, Hunter has over 150k followers on his Instagram page. Hunter’s Instagram bio reads, “The inner machinations of my mind are an enigma. PS. Family. Friends. People.” Up until now, Hunter hasn't issued any official statement on the rumors surfacing online.
