LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: '90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?' Season 8 star Mahmoud El Sherbiny is currently living in Los Angeles after he moved to the city from Egypt to be with his wife, Nicole Sherbiny.

The couple celebrated their fifth anniversary on February 1 with a series of sweet throwback photos.

Soon after their anniversary, Mahmoud was allegedly arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence against his wife, Nicole.

According to the reports, he was booked at Los Angeles' Northeast Division station on February 21. He was held on a $20,000 bail and reportedly released on bond on the same night of his arrest.

Mahmoud has been scheduled to appear in court on March 13 in Los Angeles. The latest arrest reports marked the second time Mahmoud was accused of domestic violence against his wife.

In an episode of the '90 Day Fiance', Nicole and Mahmoud Sherbiny's argument escalated into a physical confrontation after he allegedly made a rude remark comment off camera.

Mahmoud continuously grabbed Nicole's arm but she pushed back. He then scolded Nicole for laying a hand on him in a public place.

'90 Day Fiance' star Nicole Sherbiny addresses Mahmoud El Sherbiny's arrest

'90 Day Fiance' star Nicole Sherbiny is yet to officially address her husband Mahmoud El Sherbiny's arrest for domestic violence.

However, the TLC show star did give a nod to the incident in her recent Instagram Story. She took to social media and reshared the Policy Brief 8 campaign post which was aimed 'to end violence against women in Muslim families.'

The graphic, which was originally posted in November, was captioned, "Violence against women is a global phenomenon that cuts across all cultures, religions, countries, and contexts. Over one in three women experience physical or sexual violence at some point in their lives."

The caption added, "Violence against women stems from patriarchal ideas, power imbalances, and sex and gender discrimination." However, Nicole did not add any additional text to the Instagram Story.

'90 Day Fiance' star Mahmoud El Sherbiny navigates cultural differences in the new season

'90 Day Fiance' star Mahmoud El Sherbiny would return to the TLC show spin-off 'Happily Ever After?' Season 8 with his wife Nicole Sherbiny.

The couple previously moved to Egypt to be close to Mahmoud's family, however, things became dramatic and Nicole returned to Los Angeles after four years.

She wanted to start a new life with her husband and he needed to navigate the cultural differences to being together. But their differences appeared to rift them apart.

The TLC show teaser showed that the culture shock hit Mahmoud and he was seen running off with a suitcase and Nicole's belongings in the middle of the night.

'90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?' Season 8 will premiere on Sunday, March 17 at 8 pm ET on TLC.
