Who stars in '90 Day Diaries' Season 5? Meet the cast of Discovery+ reality show
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: '90 Day Fiance' spinoff '90 Day Diaries' Season 5 is set to air on January 8 at 9 pm ET/PT on Discovery+.
As the thriller hits the screens, the veil is lifted on the faces of the cast members, sparking immense excitement among fans.
Premiering on Monday, January 4, 2021, on Discovery+ and boasting an IMDb rating of 5.8/10 with four successful seasons, this '90 Day Fiance' spinoff promises a season filled with celebrations of new beginnings, births, housewarming, dating, adventures, and even the unimaginable.
Throughout this season, viewers will be treated to an emotional journey as the cast members unveil their day-to-day lives. Spanning eight 45-minute episodes, the show is expected to air from January 2024 to February 2024.
Who will star in '90 Day Diaries' Season 5?
The cast this time is varied as it features Patrick Mendes and Thas Ramone, Kara and Guillermo Rojer, Steven Frend and Olga Koshimbetova, and Big Ed Brown and Liz Woods.
The show also will have TLC stars and couples like Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre, Brandon and Julia, Tom Brooks and Caesar Mack, David Toborowsky and Annie Suwan, Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh, Kim Menzies, Cortney Reardanz, and Syngin Colchester.
Patrick and Thais
They first appeared on '90 Day Fiance' Season 9 and instantly became a fan favorite. Thais Ramone, then 26 years old fell in love with Patrick Mendes, then 33 years old through an American dating site.
The American bodybuilder won the heart of the Brazilian model, Thais, despite her father's initial disapproval of her decision to move to another country for love. Overcoming obstacles, Thais eventually married her love and relocated to the US, where she got engaged to him.
Initially, Patrick's brother, John McManus, disapproved of Thais as his brother's partner, but their relationship improved over time.
The couple celebrated the arrival of their daughter, Aleesi Ramone Mendes, on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, and later moved to Dallas, Texas. Patrick, who serves as a Regional Manager and Recruiter for the smart home security company Vivint, recently gifted his wife a Tesla.
In October 2022, Thais launched her bikini brand, By Thais Ramoniee. However, some suspicions arose as people speculated that she may have sourced bikinis from questionable sites and presented them as products from her own brand.
Guillermo and Kara
This couple first appeared in '90 Day Fiance' Season 9. They also were a part of 'Pillow Talk', which made the viewers aware of their current lives.
Even though they struggled financially, when they got together. They were pressured to marry within 90 Days despite financial irregularities. They kept their promise and married in July 2021. They are still married and had a baby boy, Nicholas Antonio in December 2022.
Guillermo has finally sorted out his career and is an executive manager in a hotel. Kara works as a real estate agent servicing Charlottesville and has her own online jewelry store. She sells handmade goods and even curates jewelry for her store.
Steven and Olga
Who doesn't remember Steven mistreating his then-pregnant partner Olga? Fans of '90 Day Fiance' Season 6 were utterly disappointed with Steven Frend.
Olga Koshimbetova was a young adult when she decided to fly from Russia to be with her partner Steven. The couple split but soon got back together. Their son, Alex was born in 2018. They welcomed a daughter in 2022.
They made sure their children were inhibited by American and Russian cultures. Steven has become a better person, a loving partner, and a caring father of two.
Ed and Liz Woods
Ed and Liz can be quoted as one of the most famous and controversial couples of the '90 Day Fiance' franchise.
Liz, a single mother got together with Big Ed in '90 Day: The Single Life' in 2021. Big Ed overcame a painful heartbreak from Rosa Vega, the beautiful Phillipino.
However, the couple seems to have broken up due to incompatibility. Their age differences and trust issues have always hindered them from making their relationship strong.
Liz was on a date with a mystery man. Big Ed and Liz's friends also suggest that they don't see each other anymore. They are still spotted in San Diego, thus their relocating plan to Arkansas also failed.
Elizabeth and Andrei
This couple is known for showing off their lavish lifestyle. They have a chaotic relationship with several ups and downs. However, they do not forget to share sweet family moments on various social media platforms. They have even built a house together.

They were a part of '90 Day Fiance' Season 5 when Elizabeth met the Moldovian-born Andrei on a trip to Dublin. They soon got married and are still together.
Ari and Bini
Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre made their debut on TLC '90 Day Fiance: The Other Way' Season 5. The couple is stuck in drama following the birth of their son after the birth of their son, Avi.
However, they are still together despite bumps such as infidelity allegations to family feuds. They own a business together and Ari has become Bini's manager in the MMA scenario.
Brandon and Julia
Brandon Gibbs, a Virginian resident married Julia Trubkina, a Russian beauty in April 2020. Julia even though she tried hard found it quite difficult to adjust to the new environment. Julia was bound by a K-1 visa which made things difficult for them as she was required to fly to and back Russia.
They still do not have a baby and do not even plan on getting one soon due to financial difficulties. Fans feel it's an excuse to escape responsibility while others support their decision.
Tom Brooks
British personality Tom Brooks underwent a significant shift in public opinion during his stint on the '90 Day Fiance' franchise. Initially featured on 'Before the 90 Days Season 3 and Season 4,' Tom entered into a relationship with Darcey, a US native.

David and Annie
David Toboroswsky has undergone a massive 70-pound weight loss and fans are appreciating him for this transformation at such an age.
The couple is seen trying to have a baby but they cannot due to some reasons. Annie has PCOS and David had a vasectomy, which is preventing them from having children of their own. They have tried the IVF method as well.
Jenny and Sumit
Jenny and Sumit were first seen in '90 Day Fiance: The Other Way' Season 1, Sumit sent Jenny a friend request from a fake social media account and the two began chatting online.
After growing feelings for her, Sumit revealed to Jenny that he catfished her. Jenny ultimately forgave Sumit. Jenny decided to leave Palm Springs and move to India to be with him.
However, Sumit was 30 years younger than Jenny, thus his parents weren't too welcoming of Jenny. A lot of hurdles came in the way such as that of Sumit getting divorced from his first wife.

This 32-year-old Florida native first appeared on '90 Day' Season 1 where she flew to Spain to meet her love, Antonio Million. However, things didn't work out and they broke off. They remain as friends though.

Syngin Colchester

Kim Menzies
Kim Mezies has had a colorful past, this 52-year-old San Diego woman debuted on '90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' Season 5 with Nigerian rapper Usman Umar. They met on social media and eventually started dating.
