'Mama June: Family Crisis' Season 7 star Pumpkin concerned for Honey Boo Boo's future

GORDON, GEORGIA: In Season 7 of 'Mama June: Family Crisis,' the spotlight is on Honey Boo Boo's boyfriend, Dralin Carswell, whose parents currently live in Irwinton. In a recent episode of the WETv show, Lauryn 'Pumpkin' Efrid took Dralin to task over his uncertain future.

However, the reality star's concern backfired and the viewers slammed Pumpkin for lashing out on Honey Boo Boo's boyfriend.

Pumpkin was concerned for her sister Honey Boo Boo as she refused to move to Colorado for her nursing degree without her beau Dralin, who had been on probation for his DUI arrest.

Pumpkin urged Honey Boo Boo to concentrate on her career and she called Dralin over FaceTime to discuss his plans. However, during the conversation, Dralin was engrossed in a game, prompting Pumpkin to express her frustration, saying, "Hey, uhh get off the f******g game and talk to me."

She added, "Besides playing the damn game, you could be calling your bondsman," before Dralin responded, "It's late as hell to call my bondsman." However, Pumpkin questioned if he had previously called his bondsman but the answer was disappointing.

Pumpkin sternly reprimanded Dralin, saying, "When the f**k do you plan to call them, Dralin? Never? because it's coming up a lot quicker that y'all think." She then inquired if Dralin had any reservations or fears about reaching out to the bondsman.

He shared, "Really them telling me no that I can't go with Lana." 

Pumpkin emphasized that she would accompany Dralin to visit the bondsman if he continued to evade the subject. She concluded the call with a warning not to disclose anything to Honey Boo Boo. However, a viewer criticized Pumpkin for lashing out at Dralin.

A social media user said, "I'm sorry but this is beyond pathetic, they wanna sit here and gang up on Dralin making it seem it's him that's holding her back ntm Pumpkin needs to stafu, it's not on him on what SHE chooses to do, she literally just graduated 5 secs ago let the freaking child BREATHE."

Another person added, "Um, Pumpkin, you don't need to get involved. You already have a lot of stuff going on. Then, you're going to complain how stressed you are." Another said, "Where are Dralin's parents at regarding his future?!?!"

A user on X raised a question, "How could anyone be surprised at anything she does?" Meanwhile, another viewer remarked, "Somebody from Dralin's family needs to school him. It's not Pumpkin's responsibility."

Pumpkin seeks Justin Stroud's advice over Dralin Carswell's probation

Pumpkin called her mother June Shannon to help her out in Honey Boo Boo and Dralin Carswell's drama. She told June, "The big rush us Alana got a call from the school that she has a week to accept the scholarship or it's done with."

However, June wanted to support her daughter Honey Boo Boo and tried to convince Pumpkin not to force her to move to Colorado.

Pumpkin was offended by June's response and said, "I might actually have found something Mama can succeed in... the criminal justice system.' However, she then asked for June's husband Justin Stroud's advice noting, "He's the most responsible out of you two."

Justin then informed Pumpkin, by stating, "I talked to Dralin and I told him I would start with the bail bondsman." "That's who he's got to answer to until he goes and gets sentenced or gets indicted," he added.

Doe Doe slams Honey Boo Boo for following Mama June's footsteps

Honey Boo Boo's aunt, Jo 'Doe Doe' Shannon, expressed concern about her niece's future, asserting that she doesn't want her to tread the same path as Mama June. Doe Doe shared her desire for Honey Boo Boo to break the cycle of following a man, expressing that both her mother and sister, June, had ruined their lives. 

She then suggested that Pumpkin reach out to an expert and get in touch with an attorney or bondsman. However, Pumpkin was afraid of Honey Boo Boo's reaction if she found out that she pushed Dralin and claimed, "What if she doesn't want me to get involved?"

However, Doe Doe noted, "She'll get over it when she's working in a field that's get passion making bank she'll be grateful."
