When will Episode 8 of 'House of the Dragon' premiere on HBO and HBO Max?
Season 1 of ‘House of the Dragon’ has reached a point where things will only get worse for every central character. There will be a lot of bloodshed and we might see a lot of body count as the show slowly and steadily walk towards its conclusion. The sixth episode of the HBO epic fantasy series saw older versions of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D'Arcy) and Lady Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke). On the other hand, we also saw the deaths of some major characters such as Ser Harwin Strong, Ser Lyonel Strong, and Lady Laena Velaryon.
But a good part of Episode 7 was all about mourning the loss of a loved one. Lord Corlys Velaryon (Steve Toussaint), Princess Rhaenys Targaryen (Eve Best), Ser Laenor Velaryon (John MacMillan), and other members of the House Velaryon are extremely sad after Laena’s death, including Prince Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith).

Fans are really excited to know what’s going to happen in the upcoming episode and can’t wait to see what happens next. So, when is the eighth episode going to air?
When will ‘House of the Dragon’ Episode 8 premiere on HBO and HBO Max?
Right before the beginning of Season 1, the network had already mapped out when this season was going to conclude and followed the original plan. The eighth episode will follow the same pattern and will see Episode 8 premiering on HBO and HBO Max simultaneously on Sunday, October 2, at 9 pm EST.
As far as tonight’s episode is concerned, Prince Aemond lost his left eye after stealing Vhagar. The dragon belonged to Laena’s children and that’s what they told Aemond. But he tried to hurt them and that’s when Rhaenyra’s children came in and the argument turned into a full-blown fight.
Meanwhile, the moment that everyone has been waiting for finally arrived and now, Princess Rhaenyra and Daemon Targaryen are husband and wife.
Episode 7 was slower than the previous ones, but it was worth the wait. With Prince Viserys’ health getting worse, it seems the fight for the throne is going to get more and more serious between the two sides of the House of Targaryen.
