After Kimberly explains to Usman's family that she sent the bull as a gift rather than a bribe, Usman's mother, Fadimatu, provides a new directive stating, "I don’t oppose the idea of him marrying an older woman, but he should start by marrying a younger one. Kindly apologize to her and tell her to leave."
"I respect her opinion, but I’m not going to be the second wife. That’s not what I came here for," Kimberly tells the cameras. Usman tries to reassure Kimberly in the vehicle that everything will be OK and promises a "double yammy" in bed tonight as a reward. She isn't convinced it will work. "I wish his family would’ve opened their minds up a little bit more instead of seeing me as his ex-wife," she says. She didn't expect them to welcome her with open arms, but she also didn't expect it to be so unfriendly.
Usman reveals that his mother was his "second God," and he could not defy her desires. "Then it’s over," Kimberly says. "I can’t be the second wife. For me, I won’t do that. I won’t be anybody’s second anything." She said afterward that previous relationships had pushed her to the side, and she would not allow it to happen again. "I don’t care if he came here right now and proposed to me with the biggest diamond in the world. I’m not his second."
Usman vows to devise a fresh approach to his mother between now and the morning, but when the time comes, he receives a particular regional pedicure at the breakfast table and has no quick strategy for them other than to try again. "I been compromising more than what you compromise. You’re not compromising anything to me," Usman replies, prompting Kimberly to leave the table. "My DM is full with young beautiful rich ladies. So who is losing?" Usman claims.
Kimberly sobs once she reaches the hotel and declares that she will not be seeing anyone today. "He doesn’t deserve it," she says. She's had enough of all the remarks about women he can get. "But he loves me so much. Does he? Is all this fake? I just don’t even think I want the blessing now. I just don’t care," she says.
Gwen takes Jovi, Yara and Mylah to the airport so they may travel from New Orleans to Prague, where her mother, Olga, (whom she hasn't seen in almost two years), lives. While they will not be traveling to Ukraine, Yara thinks that being closer to her friends and relatives would allow her to offer support and answers. Gwen is terrified that they will go near a conflict zone, and she fears that Yara will wish to stay in Europe. Olga greets them with flowers at the airport. She asks Yara in Russian whether she misses Ukraine while they're in the car. She expresses a desire to see Kyiv and assures her mother that it has not been destroyed.
"I hope this war will end soon," Yara says. Mylah instantly warms up to her Grandma Olga, and Yara is relieved that she wants to babysit the baby without asking, as she does with Gwen at home. Jovi encourages Yara to ask her mother if she wants to be their nanny in Louisiana, but Olga wants to be their nanny in Prague instead. "I like it here. Do you wanna live here or go back to America?" Olga inquires about Yara. "Maybe I want to stay here, but I am not sure yet," Yara admits. “What about Jovi? Does he want to stay here?”
"I don’t know, Mom. I am so happy that Jovi doesn’t understand what we are talking about." Jovi is aware that his name is being repeated frequently, but he is not paying attention to the dialogue. "Did you say, ‘I love Jovi, he’s the best husband?'" he asks. "It’s making me not want to go back to the USA," Yara says in an interview. "For now, I don’t know how long I want to stay in Europe."
Angela is about to leave the restaurant when Michael persuades her to stay and finish the chat. "I still love him, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to make the decision to stay," she tells the cameras. "I think both of us make mistake and I think Angela is only telling one side of the whole story, and she makes me look like a bad guy," Michael says in a private sit-down.
Angela wonders why he's back on Instagram and why he's blocked her. He claims he's using it to make money as an influencer. As she refused to send him money, he needed to start making his own to support his family in Nigeria. She's not convinced and believes he's simply using it to flirt with other women, prompting him to bring up her TikTok duets with the Canadian man (who, as a reminder, used to be a stripper with the name Original Thief of Hearts). She claimed she did it to make him jealous and that he could prove his love for her by deleting his Instagram page, but he did not. Otherwise, she's ready to return home, file divorce papers, and withdraw the visa application, which is about to be approved.
"If you wanna be an opportunist, you be that, but you won’t be that with me," she says as she walks away. "You know what you gotta do." In a subsequent interview, Michael remarks, "The ultimatum is sickening. It can’t be her way all the time… I want my voice to be heard. I don’t want to be a silent partner. I’m getting tired of it all, honestly.”
Sumit has invited his parents to meet someplace else other than their house, and Jenny claims she was too busy to go since she was unpacking their honeymoon bags and wants to sweep the floor. She believes meeting up wit them will be a waste of time. "He’s never going to convince them — they’re never going to accept me," she adds during a sit-down.
When Sumit arrives at the outdoor meeting spot, his parents were not present, but his brother Amit, sister-in-law Shree and aunt Surat have taken their place. "They're not coming," Amit informs Sumit, who was taken aback. "Now I know that there’s no improvement in the relationship with my parents," he adds in a solo interview. Surat assures Sumit that his mother was in "severe trouble" and had sent her to her place. Since other relatives, acquaintances and neighbors learned that Sumit married someone twice his age, the phone at his parent's house hasn't stopped ringing since, and they're finding it difficult to answer.
"The way your mom is right now, seems like she’s going to go insane," Surat adds. "Her eyes look as if she’s drunk or high." Surat says in her interview that Jenny should not have married him and should have thought about his future. "Only you can fix this," she tells Sumit. Sumit surprises everyone by declaring he'll have a child to please his parents, although he hasn't addressed it with Jenny yet. "Honestly speaking, I don’t want kids," he tells the producers. "But this is something I will do for my parents in order to make them happy and to accept me as a son." Sumit does not tell Jenny about his child-rearing aspirations, but he does inform her that many people have been contacting and mocking his parents.
"If they were strong and supported us as a couple, everybody would back off," Jenny adds. "That will never happen," he says. "OK, it’s time to go to America—that’s what I say!" Sumit believes that moving to America will just make his parents hate her even more, "But if I will have a kid, that might make them happy," he says in the interview. "This is also a good reason to stay in India. I don’t know how she’ll feel about it, but it might change our relationship for good."
It's the first day of Ramadan, and Bilal's mother Halalah, sister Nefertari, brother-in-law and nephew have all been invited over for supper when they break their daily fast at sunset. Producers ask Shaeeda as she was cooking whether there had been any developments on the babies front, but she said Bilal had made it a "forbidden topic." She was looking forward to having his mother and sister on her side to put pressure on him to act immediately.
"It’s time to put the gloves on and make him see how serious this is for me," she adds in a solo interview. Later, at dinner, the family discusses Shaeeda's yoga studio, which she hopes to operate once she had her work visa, and Ramadan, but the subject swiftly shifts to Shaeeda's desire to conceive a family soon. "We have a family," Bilal explains matter-of-factly.
Nefertari was 43 when she gave birth to her son, which suggested that Bilal and Shaeeda had "six clean years" to have a child. Shaeeda tells Nefertari and Halalah after dinner that a reproductive consultant warned her that her ovarian reserves were low and that they should attempt to conceive within the next six months. Nefertari and Halalah expressed their sympathy to Shaeeda and assured her that they understood. "Something this major could be very bad if they can’t come to an agreement," Halalah tells the cameras. "I cannot sustain this any longer," Shaeeda acknowledges later in the interview. “Bilal needs to fight his fears. He needs to face the music, so it’s either we have this conversation now about my fertility problem or there might not be a later to have this conversation.”
Liz was driven back to her house by producers after she threw her $13,000 engagement ring into the woods. She phoned her friend Tawny and asked if she may spend the night at her place. Liz surprisingly retrieves the ring where she tossed it. "He can have it back," she replies. "I know Ed will have a hard time finding true love," she says in an interview. "I really wanted to be the person to show him that."
She meets Tawny, who is tired of Big Ed continually stepping all over Liz. Liz arrives home, delivers Big Ed the ring, and goes to bed without saying anything. The cameras return in the morning, just in time for them to resume their dispute, which turns nasty. She insists she was not a lesbian, but she did comment after they broke up for the millionth time that she should simply date women. Big Ed blames Liz for their troubles since she didn't eliminate toxic individuals from her life, whereas he gave up his friends, mother and daughter.
"Do not put that on me," she screams. Back on the other dispute, Liz urges Big Ed to "stop making it seem like I’m a little party animal when we know who the party animal is," accusing him of drinking every night and saying horrible things to her, such as wanting to sleep with her buddy Alex rather than her. He claimed he was probably inebriated at the time and did not recall saying it. "It’s not okay!" she exclaims. Liz requests that Big Ed go after he stated that she was clearly not the proper woman for him. "I’m happy to leave. Liz, have a nice life."
Big Ed informed the producers who followed him out that he rushed too quickly to get engaged. "He doesn’t make me feel like I’m his equal," she tells the remaining cameras. Big Ed understands that he has nowhere to go. "I lost half my family that were close to me and I gave them up to be with Liz," he says. "I have my dogs."
