In a recently released clip, we see Sumit talking to Jenny about his expectations from his parents. The '90 Day Fiance' star says, "I want them at least the way they were before our marriage." He further explained that before his marriage, his parents used to call him once a week and meet sometimes. However, now that they have totally cut ties, he wants to make an effort to mend things.

Jenny thinks that Sumit's idea of mending things with his parents is just a "waste of time". The 63-year-old is clear that neither Sumit's parents will ever accept her nor will he ever be able to convince them. To this, Sumit replies that his culture is different from that of Americans. He says, "According to American way like your parents are mean to you and mean to your wife, you should just let them go. But, I can not let that happen." Therefore, he claims that his effort to mend things will never stop.

Sumit fixes a meeting with his parents. But, instead of his mother and father, he finds his aunt, Surat, and brother, Amit, there. When asked where his parents are, Sumit's aunt says they refused to come to meet Sumit. The reality star confessed, "I'm trying to hide it right now, but, I am hurt." Sumit further claims he is disappointed because now he has to talk to his parents through his aunt. He says, "Now, I know that there is no improvement in relationship with my parents." It is to be seen whether he will make more effort or not.
