This comeback season will not be easy for BTS fans who will have so much content to consume as the boy group keeps fans well-fed. First, it was announced that BTS would be making a comeback with their first-ever anthology album to commemorate their ninth anniversary this June. Fans were soon overwhelmed to learn that BTS would only be dropping three new tracks with the three-cd album but all hell broke loose when it was revealed that CD 3 of 'Proof' will contain demo versions of older BTS songs that had never been heard before.

Then, it was announced that American record producer Benny Blanco had collaborated with BTS to release remixes of three of ARMY's most favorite tracks, namely, 'Blood Sweat and Tears', 'Fake Love' and 'Life Goes On'. Following that, the news of BTS becoming the first-ever K-pop group to be invited to chat with the President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, took fans by storm. And now, it does seem like BTS has ensured fans do not have a minute to breathe as the boy group has announced an Apple original audio series titled, 'BTS Radio: Past and Present' for fans.

BTS to host a radio show on Apple music

On May 27, it was announced that K-pop leaders BTS will talk about their gradual journey to becoming global superstars with their new Apple Music weekly limited series titled, 'BTS Radio: Past and Present'. The streaming service announced that BTS will be releasing a three-episode limited series on their platform on a weekly basis starting from May 28 onwards (May 29 in Korean Time). The three episodes of the show will cover BTS' journey over their nine years in the K-pop industry and now, slowly but surely, in the global space too.

The first episode will be released on May 28 at 11 am ET (May 29, 12 am KST) and the remaining two episodes will be broadcast subsequently on a weekly basis. The final episode of the limited series will be released on June 10, the same day as BTS' new album, 'Proof'. It has been reported that the Grammy-nominated boy group will narrate their "rise to stardom" by sharing stories and songs that have helped shape BTS into who they are today.

What is 'BTS Radio: Past and Present'?

From the show, fans and listeners will get an insight into how BTS became one of the biggest K-pop boy groups in the world and have most recently come to release chart-topping hits like 'Dynamite', 'Permission to Dance' and 'Butter'. While talking about 'BTS Radio', RM (Kim Namjoon), leader of BTS, said "Through this radio show, we want to celebrate the ninth anniversary of BTS together with listeners and ARMYs around the world." He added, "Every episode is dedicated to you," making the radio show as fan-centric as it can get.

According to the boy group, in the first episode, members will describe their first rise to success and share songs that inspired their music and style. The second episode, which is to be released on June 3, will see BTS members select some of their fan-favorite hits from their own discography. In the final episode that will be released on June 10, members will show fans and listeners first-hand how the boy group ultimately rose to prominence as a global music sensation.
