BTS X Benny Blanco: ARMY’s three favorite tracks to be remixed by American producer
Looks like the comeback season is in full swing for BTS and the boys are giving fans a teaser of what their upcoming anthology album ‘Proof’ has in store. BTS has collaborated with the American record producer Benny Blanco for an upcoming ARMY-centric project and fans are here for it. Since BTS will be making their highly anticipated June 2022 comeback with ‘Proof’, a three-CD anthology album with 45 tracks in total, there has been a lot of hype around the boy group.
Since this BTS era is all about reminiscing their past hits, over the last few weeks, the boy group and their label Big Hit Music (HYBE) had been engaging with ARMYs via their Instagram account. The account posted stories featuring choices where fans voted for either of two BTS songs. Ultimately by the end of that challenge, three of BTS’ older songs namely, their 2016 release ‘Blood Sweat and Tears’, 2018’s ‘Fake Love’ and 2020’s ‘Life Goes On’ came out victorious as the Top 3 ARMY approved tracks.

Benny Blanco collaborates with BTS
Fans were curious about what BTS and the label had in store for fans and the veil has lifted, so to speak. On May 26, Big Hit Music posted on BTS' official Twitter making an announcement about the #MyBTSTracks challenge on Instagram. It was stated that the Top 3 tracks chosen by ARMY were going to be made into a special remix package with the help of Benny Blanco. The three tracks with the most fan votes were ‘Blood Sweat and Tears’, the title track from BTS’ 2016 album ‘Wings,’ which was also one of the first songs from the boy group to become a global hit.
The second BTS track with the most number of fan votes was ‘Fake Love,’ the title track from their 2018 album, ‘Love Yourself: Tear.’ This was BTS' first single that the boys performed on international shows. Shockingly, BTS’ “queen” single, ‘Spring Day,’ did not make it to the Top 3 fan-voted list. The song was overtaken by their 2020 release ‘Life Goes On,’ which was the title track of their self-produced album, ‘BE’. The song is also BTS’ only Korean song to top the Billboard Hot 100 songs and holds a special place in the hearts of fans as well as BTS members as it was created during the pandemic.

BTS x Benny Blanco to drop on May 27
It was revealed that the remix version of these three songs featuring Benny Blanco will be released on May 27 via BTS’ official Twitter handle. American producer Benny Blanco has collaborated with musicians such as Halsey, Justin Bieber, Khalid, Calvin Harris, Selena Gomez, the late Juice WRLD, and Marshmello among many others. In particular, the record producer released the single 'Lonely' with Justin Bieber and enjoyed global popularity.
The collaboration was first teased when Benny interacted with BTS members after meeting them backstage at their 2022 ‘Permission to Dance on Stage’ concert in Las Vegas, USA. Meanwhile, BTS will release their new album ‘Proof’ on June 10 at 1 pm KST (12 am ET). This album consists of three CDs with 45 songs in total. Five out of the 45 songs will be new songs and one CD will have demo versions of BTS songs. This 'demo' CD songs will not be released digitally, which means only fans that purchase the physical album will be able to hear those tracks. BTS ‘Proof’ is an anthology album that contains proof of their success from nine years of being active as K-pop idols in the industry ever since their debut in 2013.
