Ever since Season 1 of the show, the Plath family have garnered some strong opinions about thier way of life, particularly how Kim and Barry raise their kids. Seeing that the Plath kids are raised in a largely religious setting while being homeschooled, fans have called the parents out for leaving their children ill-prepared when it comes to real-life experiences.

And while it has been easy to villainize Kim and Barry, they aren't the only ones being called out relentlessly on social media. While Olivia did gain a lot of sympathies while she lived under the Plath roof, a lot has changed since Season 1, including her marriage with Ethan. And while the two are in a much better and healthier place now, their issues are far from over

'Welcome to Plathville' Season 4: Fans question real reason behind Max and Moriah's split

With the couple now living in Tampa with Moriah and Ethan, Olivia's brother, they finally seem to be in a much more stable position when it comes to their marriage. But everything isn't smooth sailing just yet -- Ethan is currently unemployed. Money isn't an immediate issue for the pair, seeing that early on in the season, Ethan mentioned that he did have savings and that he was dabbling in stocks, which was enough to keep them afloat.

However, there is still the question of him having nothing to do most of the time. Olivia's solution to the problem is to get Ethan's cars to Tampa or have him join an auto body shop, but Ethan isn't too keen on either. According to him, getting his cars up here to a rental property makes no sense, he'd much rather drive to Cairo and care for them there and applied the same logic to working in Tampa. This notion seems to spell trouble for Olivia for two reasons -- she believes that when Ethan gets to working on his cars away from home, he often uses it as an easy to avoid tackling or dealing with their issues. The other issue was that Olivia was afraid for Ethan to be around Kim, seeing that Kim had actively tried to sabotage their marriage.

What do you think? Does Olivia have a real cause for concern? Or is she just trying to cut Ethan off from his family yet again? Sound off in the comments below.
