LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Today all Mario fans regardless of their age are very happy as the second trailer of 'The Super Mario Bros Movie' was released today. After waiting patiently fans saw the first glimpse of most of the characters but the one they were patiently waiting for, Princess Peach (voiced by Anya Taylor-Joy). Shortly after, Universal dropped all the official character posters but the ones getting the most love are Anya Taylor-Joy's Princess Peach and Keegan-Michael Key's Toad. Almost all fans are smitten by how Toad is "slaying" and appreciate how "princess peach is not a damsel in distress."

However, Princess Peach Toadstool is a fictional character in Nintendo's Mario franchise, created by Shigeru Miyamoto and introduced in the 1985 original 'Super Mario Bros.' Furthermore, she is the princess regnant and ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom, where she resides in her castle along with Toads. On the other hand, Toad, who is also known as Kinopio, is a fictional character who primarily appears in Nintendo's Mario franchise. He is Princess Peach's attendant and a longtime protector of the Mushroom Kingdom. He is actually a singular character among an entire species of look-alikes.
