The eagerly-awaited dark comedy film ‘The Menu,’ directed by Mark Mylod which was released on November 18 in theatres, has left fans praising the culinary horror plot. One of them said, “The Menu, suspenseful and thrilling, with the right amount of comedy sprinkled in.”

The film stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Nicholas Hoult, and Ralph Fiennes, who plays the harrowingly intense celebrity chef Julian Slowik, who caters specifically to the wealthiest clientele out there. The gritty, dark, and twisted film that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats takes viewers to Hawthorne, a five-star restaurant run by Chef Julian on a remote island, as previously reported. The restaurant can only accommodate 12 guests per night and you have to pay $1,250 per meal. However, the guests soon see the restaurant turn into a nightmare as the chef takes revenge on the people he believes caused him to lose his passion for cooking.
