TWICE and their fans are living their best life at the moment as the girl group continues to make history with their concerts. They had the most-attended concert among all K-pop girl groups in North America and were also the first to announce an encore concert. They also became the second K-pop act following BTS to have two stadium concerts. TWICE also became the first girl group to earn $2 million for one concert and $4 million for two US concerts.

Just a couple of days ago, TWICE once again made history by becoming the first K-pop girl group and first foreign female act to have three sold-out concerts at Tokyo Dome. Their popularity in Japan was further evident as they are the second female act in history to achieve this milestone following J-pop group AKB48. TWICE’s ongoing fourth world tour ‘III’ also helped raise their label JYPE’s net worth by 1 trillion won ($815 million) in just three months of 2022.

TWICE hold their first US encore concert

Following their record-breaking concerts in Japan, TWICE recently flew to California for their encore concert in LA. After the demand of their sold-out US leg of the tour where they had already added two additional dates, TWICE decided to have an encore concert on May 14 at the Banc of California Stadium. And unsurprisingly, even the tickets for the encore concert were sold out immediately.

Knetz were proud, as well as jealous as they too wanted to attend the concert. They had made posts like, “I’m so jealous of American ONCEs,” “Wow TWICE is seriously so popular in the US,” and “Well, amazing.. It’s great that TWICE is popular enough to fill the stadium in the US.” However, there were some antis who claimed that the concert was a flop since it looked like they had not performed at a stadium but in a small arena. Well, fans are slamming back as they point out that the Banc of California Stadium has the word 'stadium' in its name and has a seating capacity of 22K.

‘The biggest GG I fear’

One Knetz commented, “Are you saying it’s not a stadium because it’s not 40K or 50K seats? It’s not easy for a Korean singer to perform like that overseas. Please support them. I’m proud of them even though I’m not a fan of them.” One fan shared, “A lot of dedicated haters here. The dedication to comment on every other comment just to downgrade twice achievements is actually funny to see.” Another added, “The biggest gg i fear.” One fan tweeted, “The haters are cyring while we are celebrating the achievements of our girls!! Let them cry, ignore them, just enjoy the moment, enjoy twice.” Another said, “Antis don't like to see a successful woman.”
