Well, it is a series of firsts for the JYP Entertainment girl group TWICE now that days after being announced as the first-ever K-pop girl group to hold a concert in North America, the nine-member group has bagged another first. With rumors about the third-gen girl group disbanding doing the rounds on the internet, Once’s (fans of TWICE) prove to fans that they are going nowhere. On March 31, it was announced that TWICE will become the first girl group from the K-pop industry to hold a concert in North America.

TWICE announced their new encore stage for their fourth world tour, ‘III’ at the Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles, US on May 14. It was reported that the concert would have 22,000 seats. On April 7 it was announced that TWICE had added a new show to their North American encore stage after the 22,000 seats for the first day of the show had been sold out. Adding to this, TWICE is not only the first K-pop girl group to perform in North America, they are also the first-ever K-pop girl group to sell out the 22,000-seat ‘Banc of California Stadium’ in Los Angeles, USA making new records in the history of a K-pop. It is reported that tickets for the new show will go on sale from April 11 at 3 pm PDT (6 pm ET) on the website - livenation.com This comes after TWICE’s growing international popularity which also made them the first girl group from JYP Entertainment to appear on Billboard's ‘Hot 100’ chart with their 2021 all-English hit single, ‘The Feels’.
