JYPE net worth rises by 1 trillion won thanks to TWICE, fans say 'their power is insane'
TWICE just might be the pillar of JYPE as claimed by fans. On April 8, it was reported that JYP Entertainment’s worth in the market had increased by 1 trillion won (~$815 million) with only the revenue of the first three months of 2022. Industry experts analysed the report and shared that JYPE was at its peak and had grown by 70% of its lows. This was all reportedly thanks to the world tours and stadium concerts being organized for none other than TWICE.
Korea Exchange had previously shared that JYPE’s stock prices were pretty low in January 2022 but rose to 66.2k (~$54) won which is the highest since 2001. The K-pop label’s market price was around 1.3 trillion won but has now risen to a whopping 2.24 trillion won. In the last three months, JYPE’s artists have been doing pretty well as Stray Kids’ latest album made 850k sales, their new girl group NMIXX is a platinum seller just a month after their debut while ITZY is preparing for a Japanese comeback.

TWICE’s touring responsible for 1 trillion won growth
However, it is TWICE’s performance that caught everyone’s eye and made fans proud. They recently began their world tour and became the first girl group to earn $2 million for just one US concert. They also became the first girl group to make $4 million with 2 US concerts. Their immense demand in the West is evident as they added two more stops and now an encore concert in California after the American leg of the tour was sold out. Their impact on the market is further impressive as TWICE has not had a single comeback in the last 3 months. They are also the first K-pop girl group to cross 10 million followers on Twitter.
‘Doing charity work’
ONCEs (TWICE’s fandom) were proud as they made tweets like, “They better use Twice’s money for Twice themselves! GIVE THEM THE BUDGET THEY DESERVE.” Another said, “THIS HAPPENED TO @jypnation WITH ONLY TWICE CONCERTS & even WITHOUT PROPER PROMOTION🤭now, imagine if they'll GIVE TWICE WHAT THEY DESERVE.” One fan added, “When SKZ is entered in Hot 100 (#1) we respect that but it is so unfair to think that some stays start discrediting TWICE’s help in JYP entertainment which in the first place they build that company into midsized with their money. TWICE really made a huge contribution huh.” Another commented, “My successful twice, keeing the lights on and doing charity work for jype wbk.”

One fan was sad, “The most contributor of jype yet the most mistreated group :(((.” Another shared, “Twice: ‘'we made 1 trillion won in just 3 months'’ they're power is insane, nobody is doing it like them, just queens.” One fan posted, “Twice without comeback outdid your favs 4 year career that was made off twice money.”
