SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: Over the last few weeks, fans have been wondering if the K-pop group TWICE is actually having a comeback at the end of this month as JYP Entertainment has failed to release regular promotional content for the girl group's upcoming mini-album. Ever since it was announced that TWICE will be making a comeback with their 11th mini-album, 'Between 1&2', fans have been hoping for more promotional content from the label.

Now, the label has dropped some promotional content with the tracklist for TWICE's new EP. According to the released tracklist, the mini-album contains seven songs in total, with their lead single being 'Talk That Talk'. JYP Entertainment also released an opening trailer for the album that gave femme fatale vibes as it showed the nine members of TWICE as tech wizards on a mission. Fans drew comparisons between TWICE's upcoming album trailer and Taylor Swift's 'Bad Blood' music video as both scream girl power.

Release Date

TWICE's 11th mini-album, 'Between 1&2' will be released on August 26 at 1 pm KST (12 am ET).

How To Listen

The mini-album 'Between 1&2' from TWICE will be released on all major music streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, MelOn, and more.

Tracklist

1. Talk That Talk (Title Track)
2. Queen of Hearts
3. Basics
4. Trouble
5. Brave
6. Gone
7. When We Were Kids

The album aims to form a link between the girl group and their fandom (Once), which is what the title symbolizes. The EP features seven tracks that are all produced with the participation of the members of the girl group. The title track garnered a lot of attention online as fans believe 'Talk That Talk' will replace TWICE's old reality show, 'Time To TWICE'.

Chaeyoung took part in writing the lyrics for the single 'Basics' while Jihyo wrote the lyrics for 'Trouble'. Dahyun wrote not one but two songs on the album, namely, 'Gone' and 'When We Were Kids'. The title track is the work of TWICE's long-time producer Lee Woo-min who has participated in the production of the group's past hits like 'Knock Knock', 'What is Love?' and their first English single, 'The Feels'.

Concept

On August 17, JYP Entertainment released the first set of concept photos for the highly anticipated album. In a set of 10 photos, the label released nine individual photos - one for each member of the girl group - as well as one photo featuring the entire group together. In the individual photos, fans can see close-up shots featuring some of the members' intense expressions while other solo photos showed the members' insane physique that radiates femme fatale vibes. The group photo sees the nine TWICE members line up together as Tzuyu takes the center. They are in green outfits with Black and White details while Jeongyeon's metallic blue hair immediately catches the eye.

Teaser

TWICE is yet to release the teaser for 'Talk That Talk' but so far, the girl group has released an album trailer that finds all nine members at a secret hideout space, split into three sub-unit groups of three.
