It takes a lot of courage to perform in front of your idol. As a die-hard fan of Ariana Grande, 18-year-old Gracie Nourbash was beyond thrilled when she realized that she could sing in front of her pop icon on 'The Voice' Season 21. Even before stepping onto the stage for the blind auditions, Gracie kept hoping for Ariana to notice her and pick her to be on her team.

So, with a lot of nervous excitement, Gracie stepped onto the stage and gave an impressive performance to 'Control' by Zoe Wees'. Despite the teenager's incredible vocals none of the coaches- Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Ariana, turned their chairs for her. This meant that Gracie's journey on the singing competition show came to an end. Although Gracie didn't get selected to compete on the show, she however did leave with some great memories and surprisingly a new wave of fans!

Although her idol Ariana didn't turn her chair for Gracie, she however complimented the young singer for her vibrato and big range. Gracie seized the opportunity to reveal to Ariana that she was a huge fan and that they met six years ago during her 'Honeymoon' tour in Chicago. Gracie even brought along a few pictures from that tour and showed them to the 'Thank You, Next' singer. Ariana was really touched and gave Gracie the best gift by kissing one of the photographs and giving it to her fan.

After watching Gracie's heartfelt performance and her sincere appreciation of Ariana, fans felt that the coaches made a huge mistake by not turning for her. A fan tweeted, "I would've turned for Gracie. But, what do I know? #VoicePremiere #TheVoice." Another fan wrote, "I think Gracie Nourbash should try again next season. #TheVoice." "Gracie was kinda robbed omg she has such a great voice #TheVoice," declared a fan.
