'The Voice' Lives: Team Legend's Samuel Harness sent home, fans say 'big mistake'

With his raspy voice and impeccable range, Samuel Harness won everybody's hearts on 'The Voice' Season 21. His vocals were so smooth that even John Legend admitted that he was jealous of Samuel's vocals. Despite his consistently good performance, Samuel, unfortunately, failed to garner enough votes to secure his spot on the top 13 performers list on the show.

Samuel was competing alongside his fellow Team Legend performers Jershika Maple, Shadale, Joshua Vacanti, and David Vogel for the coveted spot. The performers with the highest votes from the audience proceed to the next round. Unfortunately for Samuel, he didn't get enough votes, so he found himself at the risk of elimination. But thankfully, John decided to give the talented performer another chance and picked him to compete for the instant save vote. Samuel gave a moving performance to Lewis Capaldi's 'Before You Go'.

Despite his best attempts, Samuel once again failed to get the instant vote save from the audience as they picked Team Kelly's Hailey Mia. This meant that Samuel's journey on the show ended. Fans were upset to watch the talented performer leave the competition and took to Twitter to express the same. A fan tweeted, "Everyone on #TheVoice is very talented but my boy John made a big mistake tonight! Samuel and David were two of my favourites ." Another fan wrote, "YALL LET SAMUEL GO….. IS THIS A JOKE #TheVoice." "Samuel went home so i’m done watching this season! it was a good run guys! #thevoice," declared a fan.

Another fan shared, "You all are so wrong for sending samuel home …. #VoiceResults #TheVoice #VoiceTop13 and DAVID??" "So upset to see @samuel_harness journey on #TheVoice come to an end but so excited to see more from such an amazingly talent human," expressed a fan. Another fan added, "Ahh, such an emotional performance. You’ll be sorely missed #thevoice @samuel_wilco." 

'The voice' Season 21 airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8/7c on NBC.
