Although Samuel is yet to perform on the main stage of The Voice Season 21 compet, fans are already rooting for him

If John Legend, an EGOT winner, is jealous of your voice then be rest assured that your vocals must have the voice of an angel. It's only night two of 'The Voice' Season 21 and the coaches have already been left speechless after watching the performances. One such performance was delivered by a young man named Samuel Harness.

Samuel stepped onto the stage and began crooning to 'Here Without You'. Just a few seconds into his performance, John turned his chair to watch the performer, who not only had a vibrato but also an incredible range. Soon Blake Shelton and Ariana Grande followed John's lead and watched Samuel's impeccable performance in awe. After his performance, John admitted that he was jealous of Samuel's range.  Although all the three coaches went to great lengths to try getting Samuel on their team, from Blake comparing Samuel's vocals to 'frying egg' to Ariana raising his 'grip' on music, the Indiana resident eventually decided to join Team Legend. Who is Samuel Harness?

Samuel is a 26-year-old from Fort Wayne. At a young age, he was adopted by the Harness family. Samuel's parents revealed in his introduction segment that they couldn't have any children on their own so they decided to adopt and give their love to children who needed them. The couple went on to adopt five other kids aside from Samuel.

Although Samuel grew up in a loving environment, he struggled with identity issues as he felt that his adoptive parents couldn't understand him. When he was 18, he was presented with an opportunity to meet his birth mother. That meeting changed his life as it gave him a sense of understanding. He also revealed that he turned to music as a form of therapy to cope with his identity struggles. He learned the ropes of music from his father, who is a member of bluegrass group called The Harness Family Band.

Today Samuel has a four-year-old son and claims that he learned what it is like to have unconditional love after becoming a father. He turned to his adoptive parents to thank them for all the love and affection they gave him. Samuel left his young son with his adoptive parents so that he could compete in the singing competition show.

Although Samuel is yet to perform on the main stage in the competition, fans are already rooting for him. A fan tweeted, "All I have to say about Samuel is Yaaaasssss!! #TheVoice #SamuelHarness." Fans believe that Samuel will be a very strong contender on the show and go pretty far in the competiton. 'The Voice' Season 21 airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8/7c on NBC.
