'The Voice' Knockouts: Fans thank Kelly for saving Katie from Ariana's 'bad judgment'

As a first-time coach on 'The Voice' pop star Ariana Grande is quickly learning the ropes of her new role on the popular singing competition show. After fighting tooth and nail during the blind auditions with her fellow coaches and stealthily stealing incredible singers from other coaches' teams during the battles round, Ariana managed to put together a pretty impressive group of singers for her Team Ariana. But before her team can take on to the main stage on 'The Voice' Lives round, the contestants will have to battle out against each other for one last time on the knockouts round to represent their team on the main stage.

Although Ariana stepped into the competition with a clear vision of winning her debut season, the singer found herself quickly getting attached to the singers on her team and getting extremely emotional during each elimination. So for the knockouts round Ariana bit the bullet and put two of her favorite team members against each other for the knockouts. With a very heavy heart Ariana pit Raquel Trinidad against Katie Rae. She told the season's mega-mentor, Ed Sheeran, that she was a huge fan of Raquel's energy and showmanship while Katie's vocals were to die for. Both the contestants put on their best performance during the rehearsals.

They put on an equally amazing performance during their final performance. Katie's emotionally charged performance to 'Hold On To Me' left fans awestruck. Despite Katie's exceptional performance, Ariana chose Raquel as the winner. Just as Katie was preparing herself to kiss goodbye to her journey on the show, Kelly Clarkson used her steal option and stole the talented singer. Fans were thrilled with Kelly's move and thanked her for saving Katie from Ariana's 'bad decision'.

Several fans took to Twitter to call out Ariana for picking Katie over Raquel. A fan tweeted, "Ariana clearly proved she has bad judgement by choosing BIG butt Raquel over Soulful Katie... #TheVoice." "#TheVoice Katie bodied Raquel, but of course Ariana's under talented butt picks Raquel.," seconded a fan. Another fan added. "NO WAY big loss for #TeamAriana #TheVoice that was a BAD choice Katie ate it up."

Fans also thanked Kelly for stealing Katie.
