Did Jim and Sasha Allen deserve to go home?

Jim and Sasha Allen were the first ones to perform followed by Manny Keith. While Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend showed keen interest in the father-son duo, it was on Ariana to make the final call. After much deliberation, the pop star chose the duo ending Manny’s journey right there. Blake had the option to steal but he refrained from doing so.

Speaking about picking Jim and Sasha Allen as the winner of the knockouts round, Ariana asserted, “I absolutely had to pick Jim and Sasha Allen because what they do is so special and so infectious energetically. I think everybody will fall in love with them.” For the unversed, in one of the previous rounds, the ‘Thank U, Next’ crooner had used her last steal to bag Manny Keith in her team. Taking to Twitter, Keith later thanked the coaches saying, “WHAT A WILD RIDE! Thank you from the bottom of my heart @NBCTheVoice @ArianaGrande @blakeshelton  for believing in me… I’M SO THANKFUL. This isn’t the end for me. The best is still yet to come!”

‘Song choice is so important’

The viewers of ‘The Voice’ logged into Twitter to express their views on the latest face-off. “I like Jim and Sasha but Manny shouldve won.” Another user said, “#TheVoice i love how ariana saved manny but didnt choose him in the knockouts.” And, one added, “Song choice is so important. jim & shasha chose a song that best suited their voices. if manny would've picked a different song or maybe an octave higher he might've won. love both but jim & sasha probably won't make it far compared to other contestants.”

One person tweeted, “God I was hoping manny would pull through bc I haven’t been a fan of Jim and Sasha since day 1. What’s aggravating is ariana & ed coaching manny to dance around instead of focusing on his voice. Bet if he didn’t do all that he would’ve served more.” The next one shared, “Imo it was the song. Manny's actually pretty good. Better song choice he should have advanced.” And, another concluded, “Jim and Sasha Allen picked a bouncy offering. They sound great, but I was expecting more.. idk, energy. It was great but a little reserved.”
