A timely and surprising steal from Ariana Grande allowed Manny Keith to continue his journey on the show

Ariana Grande, who has been roped in as a judge for ‘The Voice’ for the very first time, finally managed to bag a good steal with contestant Manny Keith after he battled it out against Wendy Moten on Monday, October 18. Wendy will now move to the knockouts after she was picked as a winner of the round by her coach Blake Shelton. She is already being dubbed as a winner of season 21 of the singing reality show.

Manny Keith, who hails from Florida, unfortunately, had no other choice but to head back home after losing the battle round to highly-experienced Wendy Moten. However, a timely and surprising steal from Ariana Grande allowed Manny Keith to continue his journey on the show. Social media users rushed to Twitter as they shared their excitement of pop star saving Manny at the right time.

Ariana Grande’s uses last steal to save Manny Keith

Manny Keith during his blind auditions had revealed that he was a huge fan of Ariana Grande but he ended up in Blake Shelton’s team as he was the only one to turn around his big red chair for him. Ariana later revealed that she regretted not pressing the red buzzer admitting that she thoroughly enjoyed his performance. The global pop icon then declared that she was looking forward to an opportunity to steal Manny from Team Blake which finally happened during the battles.

Speaking to Manny right after his battle with Wendy Moten, Ariana asserted, “What an incredible performance. From the moment you walked out, your energy was so amazing Manny. I loved it so much. You have this unique vibrato that I think is so cool and so uniquely you.” She then joked, “It is probably the hardest thing to sing with Wendy.” The ‘Thank U, Next’ hitmaker concluded that “goosebumps” were leaving her body after witnessing such an epic face-off. Despite leaning towards Wendy in the beginning, she bagged Manny using her one and only steal left for the battles. Earlier, in the episode, Ariana had dropped a hint that she was waiting for the right contestant to use her “steal”. Manny later took to his Instagram account and thanked Ariana for saving him. “I am sobbing rn. ThankU gosh I love you so much”, wrote Manny.

‘Finally, a smart move’

The loyal viewers of ‘The Voice’ hopped on Twitter as they spoke about Ariana stealing Manny Keith. “So glad @ArianaGrande saved Manny”, said one as another pitched in, “YES ARIANA STEALING MANNY!!! I ACTUALLY CLAPPED ALSJFKAKFJ.” The next one shared, “@johnlegend made a really good observation about it look like two different performances w/Manny and Wendy @NBCTheVoice #TheVoice but they did sound good! Glad @ArianaGrande stole Manny.”
 
One user tweeted, “I'm glad #Manny is still on the show.” Another added, “Oh I know manny is happy!!! He wanted Ariana from the start and I know she can tune up his vocals.” One person stated, “Manny is good so im okay with Ariana stealing him.” Meanwhile, another noted, “She's tried to steal all the other gold contestants, they just keep rejecting her.” And, one fan praised Ariana saying, “Finally a smart move.”
