With eight wins under his belt Blake Shelton, OG coach of NBC's hit singing competition show 'The Voice' knows a thing or two on how to spot a winning voice on the show. The country legend has a reputation if being extremely picky when it comes to picking singers on the show to be on his team, but it all changed when Wendy Moten stepped on stage during the blind auditions.

The Tennessee-based performer managed to dole out a four-chair turn performance to The Beatles' 'We Can Work It Out'. Blake was the first to turn his chair, soon John Legend, Ariana Grande, and Kelly Clarkson soon followed suit. Blake was so keen on having Wendy on his team that he even used his block button to block John from even trying to get the talented performer on Team Legend. Eventually, all of Blake's attempts of luring Wendy into joining Team Blake paid off when she picked him as her coach. When it was time for the battles round, everybody was eager to see how Blake guided and mentored her. She was pitted against another fan-favorite performer Manny Keith.

Despite Manny's best attempts he sadly couldn't overshadow Wendy's exceptional vocals. When it was time for Blake to pick the winner of the battles it came as no surprise when he picked Wendy again.

Fans were very pleased with the coach's decision to declare Wendy as the winner of the battle. Several fans took to Twitter to predict that given her impeccable vocals and range, Wendy could potentially win the competition and become Blake's ninth win on the show.
