Blake Shelton feels Wendy Moten will crack Top 11, fans say 'she has no competition'
Top 13 of ‘The Voice’ Season 21 battled it out in Episode 17 that was aired on Monday, November 15. Before the face-offs began, host Carson Daly briefed the audience that two contestants will head back home in the next episode regardless of what team they belong to. The theme for the latest episode was “Dedications” where every singer picked a song of their choice and dedicated it to the person they loved and believed in.
One of the singers from Blake Shelton’s team, Wendy Moten, who is considered as one of the strongest contenders on the show landed on the stage to perform ‘Blue Bayou’ by Linda Ronstadt. The 56-year-old crooner from Nashville has been earning a lot of praises from the very beginning of ‘The Voice’ season 21. Her latest performance on the singing reality show too left the rest of the judges namely Kelly Clarkson, Ariana Grande, and John Legend stunned.

Blake Shelton believes Wendy Moten can crack Top 11
Wendy Moten has been performing as a background singer for long but Blake Shelton while speaking to the camera backstage shared that it was time for the very talented singer to take the center stage. Wendy Moten dedicated her latest performance to her creative and performing arts teacher from high school who taught her to conquer classical music.
After her soulful performance on the song, Ariana Grande was left completely floored as she struggled to speak and find the right words. Blake, on the other hand, noted how Wendy Moten pulls off small nuances that are hard to notice but the rest of the coaches were taking note of it. Blake had earlier added that Wendy Moten can easily crack the Top 11 and move forward on the show.
