'The Voice' Lives: Fans calls it 'federal crime' to send Vaughn Mugol home again

NBC's singing competition show 'The Voice' features cut-throat competition between not just the performers competing on the show but also the coaches to win the competition. Occasionally, due to the nature of the intense competition on the show, a really talented singer might slip through the cracks and find himself/ herself getting the boot. In order to ensure that all the performers get a fair chance to compete in the competiton, the showrunners of the show decided toi introduce 'The Comeback vote'.

In the comeback vote, one of the four contestants who were eliminated early on in the competition can make a comeback and compete on the show. The four top contenders for the vote were: Samara Brown for John Legend, Aaron Hines for Kelly Clarkson, Vaughn Mugol for Ariana Grande, and Hailey Green from Team Blake. After weeks of suspense, the showrunners finally revealed the results of the comeback vote. It was announced that Vaughn Mugol from Team Ariana won the highest votes. Unfortunately, the fans' excitement was short-lived as Vaughn was shortly eliminated from the competition.

Although Vaughn won the comeback vote, he still had to compete with the other performers to earn a spot on the top 13. He justified the audience's decision by giving a beautiful comeback performance. Despite his best attempts, Team Kelly's Hailey Mia won the instant save vote and Vaughn was once again sent back home. The show's fans were annoyed to see their favorite performer getting the boot once again despite all their efforts to keep him in the competition.

A fan tweeted, "Why they made us vote for Vaughn if he wasn't going to stay djdndjd #TheVoice." "I’m sorry but poor Vaughn he really came back, ate up the whole competition only to be sent home again #TheVoice," wrote a fan. Another fan added, "#TheVoice i love hailey but sending vaughn home AGAIN is a federal crime."

Another unhappy fan expressed, "#TheVoice WOW!!! I LIKE THE LITTLE GIRL, BUT DAMN VAUGHN SANG HIS HEART OUT!!! AND IF I MUST SAY THIS IS A GROWN FOLKS GAME. YOUNG PEOPLE LIKE HER WITH THAT TALENT WILL HAVE SOOO MANY MORE OPPORTUNITIES. PLEASE LEAVE A FEW THINGS FOR US.." "I’m really in my feels over Vaughn not being saved. #TheVoice," shared a fan. "All that to bring Vaughn back all for him to go home the same episode #TheVoice," pointed out a fan.
